Is Jennifer Leaving Days of our Lives?
Fans are wondering if Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain) is out at DOOL. Things look dire for Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford) wife. She ran down her stepdaughter Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) while high on drugs. And Jenn’s thrown away her sobriety.
Admittedly, she had good cause to turn back to pills. Abigail Deveaux’s (Marci Miller) death devastated her. So, Jennifer leaving Days of our Lives would at least get her away from the place where she lost her to a violent death. Jenn needs help.
If Gwen wanted to, she could press charges against her stepmother and send her to prison. Lucky for Jennifer, Gwennie’s not gonna press the matter but she must still address her sobriety issues. So yes, Jennifer is leaving DOOL to head to rehab.
Will Cady McClain Return to DOOL?
On this week’s Days of our Lives, Jack offered to leave town with Jennifer Horton and stay by her side as she got treatment. But, she said no. Instead, her brother Mike Horton (Roark Critchlow) will see her off to the rehab facility.
But just because Jenn’s leaving now, don’t count her out for good. However, that doesn’t mean that Cady McClain will necessarily be back. The role is usually played by Melissa Reeves and Cady only fills in when she’s unavailable.
So, when Days of our Lives brings her back (and they surely will), we’ll have to wait and see which actress will play her. For now, Jenn’s off to get some much-needed help for her addiction issues and her grief.
Jennifer Horton Left Days of our Lives on October 5, 2022
As of Wednesday, October 5, 2022, Jenn’s gone from the Peacock streaming soap. That leaves Jack without his wife and the daughter he’s grieving. But it could give him more time to make things better with Gwen.
We’ll update you when Jennifer Horton’s set to return to Salem. But for now, she needs help and will get it. Meanwhile, Jenn’s husband stays behind to deal with family matters.
