Counting On‘s Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar didn’t give Jinger Duggar Vuolo what she needed to prepare for life as an adult. Or at least, that’s what Jinger Duggar Vuolo and her husband Jeremy Vuolo seemingly say to fans.
Counting On: Jinger Duggar Vuolo Isn’t Prepared for to Adult
Recently Counting On star Jeremy and his wife Jinger Duggar Vuolo were talking about preparing for adult life. In fact, they were talking specifically about preparing for life as a single person. This goes against pretty much everything Jim Bob Duggar and his wife Michelle Duggar believe.
Jim Bob Duggar along with his wife believe women should grow up and marry. As a matter of fact, Counting On cast member Jinger Duggar says she expected to be married by the time she was eighteen years old. She kept thinking that the next year was going to be it. But it wasn’t until she was 22 that she married Jeremy.
Jinger went from one household to the other. And she’s never been on her own for even one day.
Traveling and Experiencing Life Before Marriage
It seems like Jinger’s husband Jeremy, believes you should experience life before marrying. After all, he did play professional soccer and lived in different places in the world before he married Jinger from Counting On.
As they were talking, he says, “You need to know something to teach your children something.” He was asking how you could teach your children anything if you haven’t done anything yourself. Jeremy does make a good point, but the way he does it makes fans feel a little off. Is he saying that Jinger Duggar doesn’t have anything to teach Felicity and their soon-to-be-born baby?
Most fans of Counting On decided that Jeremy is shading the family patriarch and his wife. It seems like he wants to get the point across to others that it’s not Jinger’s fault that she doesn’t know a lot of seemingly normal things—like who the Backstreet Boys are. The good news is that Jinger knows who they are now.
Counting On: Michelle & Jim Bob Duggar Wasting Jinger’s Time?
As Jinger Duggar talked to her husband, she did say that she felt like she wasted some time. And then she tried to backtrack and say, “not wasted, but definitely could have done better.” She wanted to study different courses and discover different things. But she kept thinking that this was going to be when she was going to marry.
It’s likely that Jinger takes more than a few minutes each day thinking about what her life could have been. None of the girls from Counting On are ready to live adult lives independent of their parents or their husbands. After all, they have to learn how to be good wives and to cater to their husbands. At least, that’s what their parents’ teachings say.
Jinger went on to throw some shade of her own. She said that there isn’t any list that can make you be happy in your marriage. This is a direct dig at her parents since they are always posting lists on their blog. You can see more of what’s happening on Counting On when you watch TLC on Tuesday nights at 8 pm.
