‘General Hospital’: What’s Next for Carly Corinthos?
General Hospital diva Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is at a significant turning point in her life. And she stands to lose everything she’s worked for on GH. The future is full of uncertainty for the ex-mob wife. So, what’s next for the fan-fave on the ABC sudser?
General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Corinthos Loses It All
Currently, on GH, Carly Corinthos is desperate to hang on to the Metro Court hotel. However, it looks like she’s going to lose the business. Of course, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is doing whatever he can to help because he feels responsible.
But, his plan could backfire. He’s selling Crimson magazine, and he offered Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) first dibs because she runs it. That way, Drew can give the money to Carly so she can repurchase her half of the Metro Court.
But, of course, Nina won’t want to help her enemy. In fact, she may go out of her way to stop her from getting the MC back. General Hospital spoilers predict that the Crimson editor may buy the hotel to keep it from her rival.
Soon, Carly Corinthos faces a heartbreaking goodbye. So, she could very well lose her hotel for good and be forced to start over and take her life in a new direction.
Caroline Switches Gears – New Career Path Ahead on GH
One possible outcome for the longtime character is that Carly could pick up where she left off years ago. Back in the day, she was a nursing student planning to work at GH. Recently, her daughter Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) brought up the past.
She asked her mother if she had regrets about quitting nursing school. Carly admitted she’d regretted it several times over the years, recall General Hospital recaps. But, now, she feels that all of her choices led her to where she is today.
And she’s happy with that. Of course, that was before she lost everything because of the Aurora/ELQ mess. Some fans joke that she will end up waiting tables at Kelly’s Diner or even the Metro Court Restaurant.

However, it’s more likely she may reconsider a nursing career at General Hospital. But, even if she decides to go the nursing route, she soon faces an impossible choice. Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is seriously ill, and Carly may need to come clean about her lies.
The life of her unborn grandchild may depend on it. And when the truth comes out that Nina is Willow’s mother, Carly’s family may never forgive her for hiding it. And “Millow” may see her as the enemy, suspect GH spoilers.
New Outcast on General Hospital
Soon, on GH, Carly may have no choice but tell Willow that Nina’s her mother making Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) her evil twin. Willow and Carly’s son Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), are already dealing with a lot.
Not only is Willow pregnant, but she’s also very sick. And when they hear the awful news about Willow’s birth family, they’ll be horrified. Furthermore, they will be livid with Mikey’s mom, and they might shut her out.

She might also lose Drew when he finds out she lied to his face. So, she may find herself in Nina’s shoes — being judged for making a choice she thought was right at the time.
