Currently, on GH, Sonny Corinthos doesn’t know what to do. Of course, Sonny loves his wife, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), on General Hospital. But his feelings for Nina are as strong as ever. As hard as the kingpin tries, he can’t resist the pull to his ex.
Now it appears Sonny Corinthos is neglecting his health. While also struggling to keep his marriage together. He received a message that his Lithium script for his bipolar disorder has to get renewed by his doctor.
But Sonny may think he’ll be ok and put it off until things get better between him and Carly. He might not see it as a priority. But the mobster can’t go without his meds for too long. Because his mental health will be at risk, promise General Hospital spoilers.
Mob Boss Heads Toward Breakdown on GH?
On General Hospital, Sonny Corinthos’ bipolar meds may run out, causing a manic episode. His scrip is due for renewal, and with all the chaos in his life right now, he may let it slide.
Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) said Morgan Corinthos‘ (Bryan Craig) death was caused by a breakdown. So, that might be foreshadowing, and Sonny may head down a dangerous path. But, of course, he won’t want to bother Carly with his problems.

So, he may find himself turning to Nina. And like Nina Reeves told Carly, if Sonny comes to her, she will not turn him away. So, she may pull Sonny out of his dark place, and their bond could deepen, tease General Hospital spoilers.
Nina Saves “Smike” on General Hospital?
GH spoilers suggest Sonny Corinthos could lean on Nina when his health declines. With Carly being so mad at Sonny, he may feel like Nina is the only one who will understand. Of course, she will get what he’s going through.
General Hospital fans may recall that she’s battled mental illness. And suffered a breakdown herself years ago. In fact, that’s when she kidnapped Sonny’s newborn daughter, Avery Corinthos (Scarola twins). Of course, she’s a different person now.
But Carly won’t let Nina live down her past mistakes. Indeed, Carly is frantic because she may lose Sonny to Nina. Indeed, that’s a very real possibility on General Hospital. The Crimson editor admits that she loves Sonny and without all the anger.
So, if she helps him get his health back on track, it could be the beginning of a new chapter for the former couple. And Carly might be so hurt if Sonny Corinthos turns to Nina that she may end their marriage.
