‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Dr. O Vows Revenge on Jason Morgan?
General Hospital spoilers suspect Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) may go evil again – and it’s all about her precious daughter. It seems Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) calls it quits with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) soon on GH. So, Liesl may flip and seek revenge on Jason for toying with her daughter’s heart, suspect ABC soap opera scoops.
General Hospital Spoilers: Liesl Obrecht Ecstatic for Britt Westbourne
As GH recaps remind, Liesl Obrecht’s currently over the moon that her daughter Britt Westbourne found something special with Jason Morgan. General Hospital fans know Liesl is not usually the warm and fuzzy type. But, something shifted in Liesl when she almost lost Britt because of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

And now that Britt has the marker for Huntington’s, Liesl’s heart is breaking for her. Plus, Liesl Obrecht’s growing feelings for Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) are making her a bit softer these days. It’s a kindler, gentler Dr. O. But can it last? Maybe not much longer given big changes in her only child’s life coming soon.
So, Liesl Obrecht’s overjoyed for Britt because she thinks she has found love at a time when she needs it most. However, they are both in for a major shock soon, promise General Hospital spoilers. When Liesl mentioned the “L” word to Britta, she didn’t deny she’s falling for Stone Cold. But the mob violence will soon play havoc with their blossoming romance.
Jason Morgan Breaks Britt’s Heart – Obrecht Strikes Back on GH?
General Hospital spoilers know Jason Morgan is about to stun Britt with bad news. Jason Morgan believes that the only way to secure his spot as head of the mob organization is to marry Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). This will prove that Jason is in control of his territory in Port Charles. He has to take Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) place in every way.
So, that should stop the attacks from the other families. Of course, Jason Morgan knows that it is a sacrifice, but he always puts his family’s safety above his own wants and needs. However, when Jason tells Britt, she is sure to be heartbroken and possibly furious. General Hospital spoilers predict he hates to do this on top of her dire diagnosis.
Britt is tough, so that she may put on a brave face in front of Jason, but she will be crushed, predict General Hospital spoilers. No doubt, Britt will turn to her mom Liesl Obrecht for comfort. But, of course, Liesl’s first instinct is to get angry – and then maybe – get even. So, Jason Morgan might earn another enemy soon. The mob is scary – but so is a scorned Dr. Obrecht.
Liesl Out for Vengeance on General Hospital?
GH predictions believe Liesl will certainly be livid with Jason for leaving Britt to be with Carly. But he needs to make his marriage to Carly look real. So, he will likely tell Britt the real reason he’s marrying his bestie, hint General Hospital spoilers. Even so, Britt will feel betrayed, and Liesl Obrecht will surely be livid on Britt’s behalf – no matter the explanation.
Surely, Liesl Obrecht is no one to mess with. She can be dangerous and even lethal. And there is nothing Liesl won’t do to protect and avenge those she loves. So, Jason Morgan may have more to worry about than the five families. Liesl may sabotage “Jarly” and try to break them up. That could cause more mob strife too.
Or, she may target Carly and attempt to remove her from the equation so Britt can get back with Jason. There are several ways Liesl Obrecht can make Jason’s life miserable on General Hospital. Jason already can’t stand Liesl, but he knows if he retaliates against her, it will hurt Britt. And that is the last thing he wants to do.
GH Prediction: Obrecht Risks it All?
If Liesl Obrecht goes after Jason, Morgan she risks losing everyone who is most important to her on General Hospital. If Obrecht reverts to her evil and vengeful ways, it could cause her to lose Britt. There is a chance that Britt could shut her mother out if she spirals out of control. She wouldn’t want her mother tormenting Jason for doing what he must.
Britt doesn’t know when Huntington’s will strike or how much time she has left. So, she doesn’t want to waste time. And chasing revenge is not something Britt wants. And Britt might lash out at Obrecht if she finds out she is out to hurt Jason. Then again, spoilers confirm Carly tries to reason with Britt soon. So, Britt could fly off the handle as well.
Furthermore, Liesl Obrecht’s need for vengeance may jeopardize her relationship with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). He might pull away from Liesl if she goes full-on evil again. Then again, Scotty’s no fan of the Corinthos clan, so you never know… However, Obrecht may be so blinded by her rage that she can’t think clearly, suspect General Hospital predictions.
The only thing Liesl may want is to make the mob man pay for hurting her Britta. She wasn’t always there for Britt in the past. So, she may be determined to be there for her now. Soon, Jason Morgan may need to watch his back because Liesl Obrecht could be coming for him on the ABC soap opera.
