‘General Hospital’: Is Austin Holt Leaving Port Chuck?
General Hospital’s Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) may soon be on his way out of Port Chuck due to his shady dealings in Pautuck.
Of course, he does not want to leave now that he’s made the town his home. But it might be the only way Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will stay safe on the ABC sudsfest.
General Hospital: Austin Holt in Trouble
Recently, we saw Austin Holt’s sketchy past coming back to bite him on GH. We know he was on a mission when he first came to Port Charles.
He was determined to take his rightful place as part of the Quartermaine family. But that didn’t work out the way Austin hoped, recall General Hospital recaps.
Now, it looks like he wasn’t just honoring his late father, Jimmy Lee Holt (Steve Bond). Although, that was indeed part of it. It appears that he is working for someone.
And she’s not happy that Austin failed his mission. So, whoever this mysterious woman is, she sent her henchman to retrieve the doc recently on General Hospital.
And if he doesn’t go home to Pautuck, he will pay the price. But, more importantly, Maxie may be the one who pays because the mystery man just threatened her.
Indeed, she’s had enough danger to last a lifetime. And Austin’s main priority is to protect the fashionista. So, he could very well take off to ensure her safety.
Doctor Gatlin Holt Crushes Maxie on GH
Soon, on General Hospital, Dr. Austin Holt may break Maxie’s heart in order to protect her. Austin is against going back to Pautuck. Things are going well for the doctor.
He’s in a great place with Maxie, loves his job at GH, and even has some friends. Austin went from dark and quirky to calm and level-headed. But now, his dark side is starting to resurface.
And Damian Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) uneasiness about the doctor might be foreshadowing. Spin doesn’t think he is a good match for Maxie — and he might be right.
The country doc is bringing danger to “Maximista.” And that’s the last thing she needs. There was enough evil in her life with Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
No doubt, General Hospital fans want some peace for the legacy character. And a large portion of the GH fanbase wants her back with Spinelli. Indeed, it seems Spin’s heart still belongs to “Maximista.”
So, Austin may do the right thing and leave his new lady to keep her out of harm’s way. And if “Maustin” is over, that will leave Maxie free and give Spinelli a chance to win her back on GH.
Spixie Rises Again on General Hospital?
Coming up on GH, the “Jackal” may get another shot with his baby mama. Recently, the fashionista said she would trust Spin with her heart if she were single. Her comment seems to hint that there is a future ahead for “Spixie.” Indeed, she may be single soon.

Many fans are eager for a “Spixie” reunion, and most viewers can’t stand Maxie with Austin and think they lack chemistry. So, General Hospital may give the viewers what they want.
