‘General Hospital’: Heather Webber Breeds Crazy Kids – Will Esme Wind Up like Franco?
General Hospital’s Heather Webber may have doomed her children to be insane like her. And Esme Prince never stood a chance on GH with Heather as her mother and Ryan Chamberlain as her father. So will she turn into a murderous maniac like her brother and her daddy on the ABC soap?
General Hospital: Heather Webber’s Son Franco Doomed from Birth
Many GH fans know that Heather Webber (Alley Mills) is the mother of the late Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). By the time Franco was killed by Peter August (Wes Ramsey), he had reinvented himself.
But before Roger took over the role that James Franco originated, the character was extremely dark and evil. Back in the day, Franco was a serial killer with a fetish for kidnapping. He took several people hostage over the years on General Hospital.

First, there was Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright). Then, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). And also Lulu Spencer (then Julie Bergman). He also kidnapped Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) newborn son, Aiden Spencer (now Enzo De Angelis).
And he took Sam’s son Danny Morgan (now Zakary Risinger) from General Hospital after his birth. Indeed, being a kidnapper is a trait he shares with his mother, Heather. She also snatched Danny, among others.
In addition, Franco terrorized Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). He made Sam believe he had raped her. He even stabbed his mother, Heather, in the stomach. Then, he buried her body, not knowing she was still alive.
Indeed, he was pure evil. Eventually, GH writers redeemed his character with a brain tumor. Then, he turned his life around. But he wreaked havoc for a long time on General Hospital, and many people will never forgive or forget.
Steven Webber in Prison on GH
Heather’s other son, Steven Lars Webber (Scott Reeves), is a decent man — but still tends to be bad. Heather is his mother, but his father, Jeff Webber (now William Moses), is relatively normal.
Of course, Jeff is a serial cheater who could never stay faithful to his wife, Carolyn Webber (Denise Crosby). But he isn’t a killer. Plus, Steve was a good guy. He was Chief of Staff at General Hospital.
And he did his best to be good. But he had skeletons in his closet. Steve helped Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) fake her son A.J. Quartermaine’s (Sean Kanan) death.

Also, his time in Memphis, Tennessee, came back to haunt him. Steve had a patient who was a prison inmate. And his old colleague/girlfriend, Maggie Wurth (Kodi Kitchen), had a young patient. She needed a heart transplant.
Steve’s patient was a match. So, he killed his patient on purpose. He’s currently serving time in Memphis for the crime. What Steve did was wrong. However, he did it for the right reasons. So he’s not evil like his mom, Heather.
Esme Prince the Next Franco on General Hospital?
Indeed, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is a different story. Heather is her mother, but her father is Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), and he’s pure evil.
Esme has already proven that she has an evil streak. Even though she may not be The Hook, she could still turn out to be a serial slayer like her daddy.

However, her unborn child is bringing out a (slightly) softer side of the teen villain on GH. But, of course, that doesn’t mean she’s good.
And she could very well get eviler as she gets older. So keep watching to see Heather Webber go after those who wronged her daughter Esme and see if she turns out like her parents on the ABC sudser. It’s sure to be epic.
