‘General Hospital’ Couple Shakeups: Britt and Carly Get New Guys and Other New Pairings?
General Hospital leaks suggest Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) may get new love interests soon in the wake of the death of a man they both loved. Plus, a GH source hints at several other couple shake-ups and break-ups on the ABC daytime drama.
General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Morgan’s Exit Shakes Up Carly Corinthos & Other Storylines
Currently, on GH, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is presumed dead after the tunnel in Greece collapsed on him. However, General Hospital viewers know the character’s storyline was cut short when Steve Burton left the sudser over the vax mandate. He was poised to be with either Britt Westbourne or his best friend Carly Corinthos.

Indeed, Carly will be happy Drew is alive and home safe. But, Carly may find herself clinging to him as a substitute.
It seems inevitable that Carly’s husband, Sonny, will follow his heart back to Nina on General Hospital. Then, Carly could find herself bonding with Drew over losing Jason, and they may pair up. And that might be a hint that a Britt and Austin pairing is in the works. Austin could very well be the one to help Britt Westbourne cope with her grief. Their bonding over the big baby lie could send sparks flying. Plus, on the teen love scene, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) seem destined to pair on General Hospital.
No doubt, many General Hospital fans are chomping at the bit for “Sprina.” But then, that leaves evil Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) available. Then, Esme might come between Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). And some chatter says Joss might get a brand new love interest to add to the General Hospital character canvas of young players.
