General Hospital Comings & Goings: John “Jagger” Cates Shakes Things Up

GH casting updates see John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) back on the canvas after being absent for three decades. Jagger is the brother of legacy character Mike “Stone” Cates (Michael Sutton). They both had ties to many Port Charles citizens.

Sadly, Stone died of AIDS back in the 1990s. Jagger was a juvenile delinquent but he eventually turned his life around. When he left General Hospital, he became an FBI agent. And that’s what’s bringing him back to GH now.

Currently, he’s special agent John Cates and no longer goes by Jagger. He’s working on a case to find out who’s buying stolen weapons. However, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and her bestie, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), are on the same mission.

Now, they’re butting heads, especially because Anna is stepping back into her former position of police commissioner. So, John has no choice but to work with Anna and the PCPD.

He needs them if he wants to bring down the illegal arms dealer and the mysterious shooter. So far, John is a hit with fans and hopefully, he stays on the General Hospital scene for a lengthy stint.

GH Casting Changes: Cameron Webber Back Home

General Hospital updates also see Cameron Webber (William Lipton) home from college this week. But it’s sad news that’s bringing Cam back to Port Charles. He is home this week to say goodbye to one of his closest friends — Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).

Spencer and crazy Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) are both presumed dead after going overboard during a struggle in Paris. So, the entire town is paying their respects to Spencer. And someone even mourns Esme on General Hospital.

Not only is Cam home for Spencer’s memorial, but he’s also there to comfort Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). Hopefully, he will stay in PC for a while. But most likely, he’ll be headed back to Stanford University soon.

General Hospital Casting Updates: Nikolas Steps Up

Also, Spencer’s father, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), is home again, and this time, it may be for good. He returned with his son, Ace Cassadine (Clay twins), after learning of Spencer’s “death.”

He wasn’t going to stay because he is wanted by the PCPD. However, his mother, Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis), convinced him to do the right thing and turn himself in. So, he’s trying to be a better man, and will likely be on his way to prison soon.
