General Hospital Comings & Goings: Jason Morgan Back to GH!

General Hospital comings and goings report Jason Morgan‘s return is confirmed, and Steve Burton can’t wait to put the leather jacket back on.

Also, a tragedy brings someone home while another is back for revenge on GH. Read on for the newest casting updates for the ABC soap opera.

General Hospital Comings & Goings: Jason Morgan Comes Home!

GH casting updates confirm Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is back from the dead — again. In 2021, Steve left the soap on good terms after choosing not to comply with the Covid-19 vaccine mandate. Later, he went on to sign a one-year contract with Days of Our Lives to reprise his role of Harris Michaels.

Recently, Steve announced that his run on Days was up, and he is no longer filming. The next day, General Hospital aired a Primetime special — 60 Years of  Stars and Storytelling. At the end, Burton announced his return to GH with the help of Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos Spencer) and Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall).

When Steve left because of the vaccine mandate, he said, hopefully, one day it would be lifted, and he could finish his career as Jason Morgan. Well, he and the fans are getting their wish. His return is official, and he will be back on the sudser soon.

Stone Cold Alive after All

Currently, Jason is presumed dead after a tunnel collapsed on him on Cassadine Island in Greece. But this is not the first time Jason was thought to be dead on General Hospital. After being shot and kicked into the harbor, he was held in a Russian Clinic for five years as Patient Six.

This time, his body is still missing, so it’s easy for him to turn back up. Indeed, his return will flip Port Charles upside down. No doubt, his bestie/ex-wife, Carly, needs him now more than ever.

She’s reeling from the passing of her mom, Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman). Plus, she’s dealing with the whole Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) mess. Of course, she’s happy with Jason’s twin brother, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

But Drew may be off the General Hospital canvas soon. Then, there is Jason’s other ex-wife, Sam, who will be ecstatic that he’s alive. Currently, she is in a great relationship with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

But there are rumors that Dom could be leaving GH. So, when Jason does return, he might find himself torn between two of the most important women in his life. Also, there’s his longtime best friend, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

No doubt, the kingpin needs Jason back as his right-hand man on General Hospital and will be beyond happy. Surely, there will be no shortage of drama, and we cannot wait for Stone Cold’s epic return.

GH Casting Changes: Original Lucas Jones Returns

General Hospital updates put Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) in Port Charles this week for his mom, Bobbie’s, funeral. The character of Lucas was recast with Matt Trudeau a while back. However, Ryan is reprising the role for the special two-day tribute to the iconic Bobbie Spencer.

It might be a one-and-done to say goodbye to Bobbie. But, on the other hand, Ryan may stick around as Lucas for a while. If so, that could also mean a return for his ex-husband, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). No doubt, they would bring plenty of drama.

General Hospital Casting Updates: Nikolas Cassadine Back in Town

GH comings and goings also confirm that Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is officially back home. And this time, he may finally see his mother, Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis). Furthermore, he is bent on getting revenge on Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).

Plus, he seems to want another chance with his ex-wife, Ava Jerome (Maura West). So, Nik is plotting and scheming, but it will likely blow up in his face. GH is hotter than ever. Tune in each day to see Jason Morgan rock Port Charles on the ABC sudsfest. It’s going to be epic.
