‘General Hospital’ Comings and Goings: Helena Cassadine Back – Scenes with Victor?
General Hospital spoilers promise Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) returns and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) seems her likely scene partner for her latest return. So, we may learn more about Victor’s past with GH villainess Helena. And how Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) came to be on the ABC daytime drama.
General Hospital Comings and Goings: Helena Cassadine Returns
GH updates are thrilled to report that Helena Cassadine will appear on GH again soon. Recently, it was revealed that Helena’s portrayer, Constance Towers, will be taping scenes this month. And it looks like she will appear in a single episode, likely for flashbacks.
Helena’s airdate is still unknown. But with General Hospital taping six weeks out, we should see Helena sometime around late January or early February. Helena will likely resurface to explain her affair with Victor Cassadine. While her return seems to be one-time-only, there’s a chance we could see the iconic she-villain more in the future.
A recent post encouraged fans to reach out to ABC daytime about bringing her back on a longer-term basis. Perhaps, if enough people reach out, she could pop up in future storylines. Constance is hoping the post will go viral. So, she may be looking to make a more permanent return to General Hospital.
Currently, Helena is “dead.” However, GH fans know that means nothing. People come back from the dead all the time on the sudser – especially Cassadines. And Helena has done it before. Also, Victor Cassadine was thought to be dead for years until his recent resurrection.
And same goes for Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) as well. So, there is always a chance Helena could still be alive. But, for now, it looks as though she’s coming back to shed light on her past with Victor.
Victor Cassadine Flashbacks – Valentin Backstory Revealed on GH
Soon, on General Hospital, Victor may take a trip down memory lane and reminisce about his time with Helena. Of course, she was ruthless and evil.
And she wanted revenge on her husband, Mikkos Cassadine (John Colicos), for cheating on her. That’s where Victor came into the picture.
Long-time GH fans will recall that Mikkos had an affair with Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) mother. So, Helena Cassadine was out for vengeance. Not only did she sleep with Mikkos’ bother Victor but she killed Alexis’ mom. However, Victor claims that there was another side to Helena. So, we should soon get to see what Victor saw in the villainess.
General Hospital Casting News: Val Comes Out on Top
Now, the GH fan base knows that Valentin is still a true Cassadine. When Val learned that Helena was his mother, he was angry and hurt because he thought he wasn’t a Cassadine, as Soap Dirt prior reported.
It turns out, Valentin’s still part of the crazy family, recall General Hospital recaps. And when his psycho mother pops back up, more should come out about Val’s childhood.
Also, Val and his daddy Victor might go after what is rightfully theirs. Soon, the father-son duo may seize Wyndemere from Nikolas. And take the castle over, making it their home once again. So, Helena’s special episode should explain a lot.
And could also lead to Val reclaiming his spot in the family. Soon, GH viewers can expect a real treat when we see the legendary Helena Cassadine back on our screens with her old flame Victor Cassadine on the ABC sudser.
