General Hospital: Carly Keeps Lying while Willow’s Dying – Top 3 Predictions
General Hospital spoilers see Carly Spencer sitting on a bombshell secret that should be revealed immediately because Willow Tait’s cancer is getting worse by the day. She desperately needs a bone marrow transplant.
But she’s got no living family that she knows of. Yet Carly certainly knows that Willow has family right underneath her nose. But will the truth come out in time on GH? Here’s our top three predictions for how this storyline works out.
#1 General Hospital Prediction: Carly Spencer Spills When She Hears Willow Tait’s Sick
At the moment on GH, there is no reason for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) to come clean about Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) being Willow Tait’s (Katelynn MacMullen) biological mother.
Of course, Carly knows Willow asked Drew Cain (Cameron Matheson) to help her find her biological parents, but she doesn’t see any urgency or reason to spill what she knows on General Hospital.
That’s because she doesn’t know about the leukemia crisis. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) encouraged his love to tell those closest to them the truth. But she keeps saying no. However, with her recent collapse, maybe she’ll at least tell Drew.
So, if Carly learns from either Drew or Michael that Willow’s life is at risk, maybe she’ll do the right thing and tell the truth. That’s one prediction for GH. But it’s certainly a long shot since everyone is keeping secrets on the ABC soap right now.
#2 GH Prediction: Michael’s Mom Tries to Keep Secret While Saving Willow
Assuming Carly Spencer soon learns Willow Tait has stage four cancer, she might still try and keep the secret hidden. It’s possible that she could get Nina to register as a bone marrow donor without telling her she’s got another daughter.
And given Ms. Spencer’s habitual scheming, she could bribe someone in the lab to reveal they’re a match, but not that they’re mother and daughter. That way, she can save her future daughter-in-law on General Hospital.
But Carly can also deprive Nina of the satisfaction of learning she has a daughter — and it’s Willow. This would be the typical scheme that Carly Spencer’s known for, so it’s a very plausible prediction for GH.
#3 General Hospital Prediction: Carly Keeps the Secret too Long & It Blows up in Her Face
But our favorite and soapiest prediction for this GH cancer plot is that Carly Spencer sits on the secret a little too long. Once she finds out that Willow Tait has leukemia, the decent thing to do would be to bring her and Nina together and reveal their family bond.
But Carly hates Nina with everything she’s got. And she doesn’t want her rival to be anyone’s mother. So, she’ll hold onto her secret as long as she can. If she waits until Willow’s at death’s door, then Michael will be furious with his mother.

In fact, if Carly Spencer sits on the secret for even a minute after she finds out Willow’s sick, she’d likely be Port Charles’ next town pariah. Soon, she interferes in Drew’s search for Willow’s parents, not knowing how critical it is to locate them on General Hospital.
Once Drew finds out she tricked him, he’ll be furious. And Michael and his girlfriend may never speak to his mother again. Nina and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will roast her. It’d be ironic if Willow Tait also bans Carly from seeing little Wiley…
So, this prediction coming true would make for a big soapy mess on GH. For that reason alone, this is the best of the three predictions for the ABC soap opera. What do you think?
