As a matter of fact, the child Sarah carries is indeed Xander’s. However, he got involved with crime and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). So, she divorced him. Shortly after the divorce papers were signed on Days of our Lives, Sarah Horton slept with Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder). Then, Sarah discovered she was pregnant with Xander Cook’s baby.
Rex and Sarah devised a plan to leave Salem for Chicago. And the hunky Scotsman Xander hasn’t seen his ex-wife since. Further, DOOL recaps show others know the truth about the baby’s true paternity. But Sarah forced her mother and Xander’s relatives to stay quiet on the sudser. Plus, Rex is more than happy to continue the deception. In fact, he recently popped the question to seal the deal.

As a matter of fact, he may feel it’s his fault his granddad flew to Greece to see his comatose father, Bo Brady (Peter Reckell). Shawn shot and critically injured Bo. So, if it weren’t for his trigger finger, his grandfather would not have had to go to his homeland in the first place.
Next week on DOOL, Shawn struggles with guilt as he mourns his grandfather’s death. Additionally, he may turn to the bottle again to cope with his feelings. If he does this, he risks losing more than just Grandpa Vic. His job as the new Salem PD commissioner could be on the line.

While other Salemites mourn the death of Victor Kiriakis on DOOL, Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) and Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) continue to romance one another. However, both of them have ulterior motives. Melinda may try to get the goods on Li for his involvement in the attempted murder of his rival, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash).
