Days of our lives spoilers are hinting at a major shakeup for a Salem couple as one of Day‘s favorite bad girls make her return, but she may not be coming alone. Sami could be bringing a huge surprise in tow.
Sami will be back this Fall
Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) will be shaking things up in her usual style when she blows into town like a tornado. This time she is about to wreak havoc on her Aunt Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and husband Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) marriage. DOOL fans may remember that Sami and Rafe shared a heated one night stand before she left Salem after discovering that her son Will Horton (Chandler Massey) was alive but had no memory of life in Salem.

Could Sami come back with a baby surprise?
Well, it looks as though that one night stand may have had some unforeseen consequences. Sami may be returning sometime in September with a baby on board and guess who the baby daddy will be? In true soap fashion, all fingers would point to Rafe Hernandez.

Rafe shares his desire to have children of his own
On Thursday, June 14th Rafe was having a heart to heart with his Detective buddy Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) about his desire for a family and children of his own. He confided in Eli about the bond he’d shared with Sami’s son Johnny (Aaron & Griffin Kunitz), as well as Hope’s daughter Ciara (Victoria Konefal). Rafe told Eli that while those bonds were great he had always wanted kids of his own. When soap characters start talking about children fans know it is a prelude to baby drama.
Will Rafe be drawn to Sami even more if there is a child involved?
Now it looks like Sami may be about to make Rafe’s dream come true, but at what cost? DOOL fans know that Hope is already insecure about his feelings regarding his ex. A baby will do nothing but fuel those insecurities. Rafe may find himself drawn to Sami and his child. Hope will not be one to stand for that and that could spell the end of ROPE.

Soap Dirt recently reported that Days was filming with a six-week-old baby named Chloe Tepperman. Could this be the baby that will belong to Sami and Rafe? There has been a lot of speculation from Days fans. It looks like we won’t have to wait long to find out now!
New head writer Ron Carlivati loves utilizing exciting characters who have lots of history, Sami fits that bill perfectly. Sami will then have another reason to plant herself back in Salem.
The question is will Rafe really mind if Sami is back in the picture? The two have always had an undeniable attraction to each other and throwing the family element into the mix will just mean that they have all the more reason to spend time together. This will leave Hope on the outside looking in. Could this mean a possible Sami and Rafe reunion? Days fans know there is a lot of unfinished business between these two and it looks like they may finally get a real chance to answer the question what if?
Days fans will probably have mixed feelings about Sami’s possible long-term return. One thing is for sure. Whether you love or hate her Sami is sure to bring some kind of drama with her and leave lots of chaos in her wake.
