‘Days of our Lives’ spoilers: Devastating News-Lani Loses Baby!

Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate a major tragedy is about to strike two people in Salem. DOOL fans have watched Lani Price (Sal Stowers) struggle with her high-risk pregnancy for months now. She and the baby’s father Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) have bonded once it was revealed that he was the real father and he has tried to care for both Lani and the baby.

An emergency trip to the hospital

Unfortunately, there is going to be a major tragedy for Eli and Lani. According to SoapHub Lani will have to be rushed to the hospital yet again and it will be JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) to the rescue. Days fans have seen Lani have these emergency situations before and everything has turned out okay. That will not be the case this time. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) will have to break the news that the baby has to be delivered early and Lani will be rushed in for an emergency C-Section.

Baby dies in surgery

According to Days spoilers Eli will want to remain positive, but will soon be faced with the news that the baby has died in surgery. Eli won’t be able to maintain himself as his grief will consume him. He’ll realize that Lani still has to be told when she comes to from the surgery, but it seems he may not have the ability to do it. Days fans will once again see JJ come to the rescue as he fills Lani in on what happened to her baby and steps in to comfort her about losing the child he once thought was his and that they would be raising together.

Will Lani and Eli stay together or will they decide to move on? Wil JJ’s being there for Lani in her time of crisis reopen the possibility of love for JJ and Lani?
