‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Chad Wants Abigail Back – Will She Give Him Another Shot?
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) tries to win Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller) back after she walked out on him a few months ago. But, will Abby give him a chance after this last betrayal? Plus, Abby may return to Salem with revenge on her mind for the stunt that her sister Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’ Brien) pulled. After the Olympics are over and DOOL resumes in August, spoilers show Chad tries to woo his wife Abigail once again.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Chad DiMera & Abigail Deveraux Make Amends?
DOOL spoilers indicate that Chad DiMera tries to convince Abigail Deveraux to give their marriage another chance. Recall, Abigail left Salem to sort things out. She went to stay with her mom, Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain), after being accused of causing Gwen to miscarry her and Chad’s unborn baby. Little do they know, Gwen lost the baby prior to the struggle the left her toppling down the stairs on Days of Our Lives.
After Gwen’s staircase stumble on Days of Our Lives, she led everyone to believe that Abby pushed her during their heated spat. Later, Gwen eventually admitted the fall was an accident and not intentional. But Abigail Deveraux felt she needed to seriously reevaluate her life. So, Abigail left to help her mom sort through her late grandmother’s estate. That’s a death Abby still blames on Gwen…
Days of Our Lives updates indicate a possible return to Salem for Abby. Actress Marci Miller exited as Abigail to give birth to her daughter Willett James Matteson back in March. But, her maternity leave may already be over. So, Chad DiMera could have the chance to try and woo Abigail Deveraux sooner rather than later. The NBC soap is back on air August 9 – so watch for Chad and signs of Abby’s return.
Abby Still Furious at Sister Gwen on DOOL
Days of Our writers could bring Abigail Deveraux back with a revenge motive. Although she doesn’t know the truth about the miscarriage, Abby most likely resents Gwen anyway for blaming her. Of course, Abigail left town saddened by the events and for Chad DiMera and her dad taking Gwen’s side. However, she was falsely accused.
Plus, Gwen never had to face the consequences of her actions as far as Abigail is concerned. Days of our Lives recaps show Abigail Deveraux tried to drug Gwen with the help of frenemy Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus). Luckily, Gabi talked sense into Abby before anything happened. Abigail does have her two children, Thomas and Charlotte, to consider. Still, Abby does have it in her to be vindictive and may target her sis.
Remember on Days of our Lives, Abigail Deveraux killed Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) several years ago, leading to a mental breakdown. So, dear Abby does have a history of both mental illness and violence. Has she she been stewing over the fact Gwen didn’t have to pay for ruining her life? Gwen better watch out if Abigail has retribution on her mind when she returns.
Days of Our Lives: Does Abigail Want Revenge or Chad More When She Returns?
On DOOL, Abigail Deveraux could come back for revenge or romance in her Salem return. Her estranged husband Chad DiMera hurt her deeply. First, Chad had a fling with her sister. Then, Chad didn’t believe her when she said Gwen was up to no good. Further, Chad took Gwen’s side when she lied about the stair shove.
While Chad DiMera did agree to go to couples therapy, being around both him and Gwen on Days of Our Lives was too much for Abigail. Not to mention, her daddy, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), also sided with Gwen with Chad at his side. Poor Abigail, betrayed by the two men she loves the most. Honestly, she does deserve to get even with her handsome blue-eyed hubby Chad, right?

Days of Our Lives writers could have Abby going after revenge by bedding one of Chad DiMera’s brothers. Now that EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) marriage is about to fall apart, he’s soon ripe for the picking. Back in the day, Abigail and EJ did some hot hanky-panky. Without a doubt, a reunion between him and Abigail would be the ultimate payback on Chad for cheating with her sister.
However, sources have not confirmed when Abigail Deveraux comes back to Salem. But Days of Our Lives spoilers confirmed Chad DiMera gets another chance with Abigail. For now fans only have one week left to wait for the NBC’s Olympic coverage to close and DOOL to return on Monday, Aug 9.
