Days of Our Lives Coming & Goings: Johnny DiMera SORAS’d and back with Dad?
For months, Days of Our Lives casting rumors teased Johnny DiMera’s homecoming. DOOL viewers recall the last time he was in Salem he was just a little boy. His last small two-year SORAS pushed his age up by two years. He should be about 15 after that jump. However, the son of Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) and EJ DiMera will come back aged up to match his twin sister.
You might recall from Days of our Lives history that Johnny is the fraternal twin brother of Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). Johnny and Allie are twins by two different fathers. It’s a possible but rare occurrence – so of course, the NBC soap did it. Now, with Allie aged up to 21, we’d expect the same when Johnny comes back.

After all, she is cheating on her husband EJ with her ex (and other baby daddy), Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo). She claims EJ has been rejecting her and then bedded her ex not once, but a couple of times, it seems.
However, EJ is sure to have an explanation. Brought back from the dead by Dr. Rolf’s (William Utay) serum, EJ was badly burned. Sami worked to help him recover in Italy, off-camera on Days of Our Lives. Sadly, going from wife to caretaker is highly stressful. DOOL fans argue over Sami’s perfect match – EJ or Lucas. Sparks are sure to fly as someone blabs the truth to EJ – likely his sister, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).
Finally, Days of Our Lives casting spoilers report Tony arrives this Summer. So, Tony is sure to bring an interesting storyline along with him. Does he return with his brother EJ? Or his lovely wife Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley)? Either way, Tony has something to say about the rightful DiMera heir on the NBC sudser.
Days of Our Lives Prediction: Chanel Dupree Hot For Johnny DiMera?
If the DOOL rumors are true and Johnny comes back, he might be the target of Chanel Dupree. She wants fun, love, and money on Days of Our Lives. After all, she did marry hunky, drunken Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) thinking he was a rich CEO. Then, Chanel’s kiss with bestie and former party girl Allie didn’t amount to anything more than a gentle letdown on DOOL.
Days of Our Lives spoilers wonder if Chanel might target her party pal’s twin brother, Johnny since he’s sure to be their age, wealthy, and possibly wicked. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that Johnny pops up on DOOL sooner rather than later after almost a year of teasing fans with his SORAS return.
No doubt, Johnny DiMera is in line for a chunk of the family fortune. So, that might make him a hot prospect for Chanel – whether Allie likes it or not on Days of our Lives.
