DOOL early edition sneak peeks divulge Lucas Horton wakes up with a hangover after being sober for years. But what pushes him over the edge to pick up the bottle again?
Spoilers hint he comes back to town with high news for Roman Brady (Josh Taylor). Further, Lucas tells Roman he is engaged to his daughter Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). But perhaps Roman doesn’t give them his blessing.
After all, Sami may still love her ex-husband EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). On the other hand, Lucas could be feeling super guilty about how he unfairly won Samantha back on DOOL.
Days of our Lives video archives show Lucas Horton kidnapped Sami. He held her captive for months before “rescuing her.” But, when she got back to town, she still wanted to work things out with EJ.
She felt terrible for having a sordid affair with Lucas. Then, to ensure his win, Lucas framed EJ for the crime he committed. Spoilers indicate Lucas gets into a knock-down-drag-out fight with his nemesis.
The brawl could be what sends Lucas to the bottle. His mother, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), also finds him sitting at the bar. Later, Lucas Horton wakes up with a hangover.

DOOL’s Doctor Tripp Dalton Considers his Future
Meanwhile, Dr. Tripp Dalton makes plans. Do they include getting back together with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold)? He risked his life to save her from the devil, only to tell her they were over for good.
He knows she loves Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and doesn’t want to play second fiddle on Days of our Lives. However, DOOL updates hint Allie will make her decision soon.
She hated breaking Tripp’s heart. In addition, she knows how much her twin brother Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) loves his ex-wife and wants to remarry her.
But, even if she gives up on her love for the beautiful baker, Tripp may still decide he needs someone different in his life.
Chanel has a big choice to make; both Sonny and Lucas get confrontational.

But, his big decision could revolve around his work. He loves being in the medical profession. Tripp may get a job offer elsewhere or decide to work in the Doctors Without Borders program.
He could go help the poor receive medical treatment. Days of our Lives fans wonder if the cute physician will soon leave the show. Watch for his life-changing decision soon.
Days of our Lives in 2 Weeks: The Chairman of the Board Makes Plans
DOOL teasers suggest that DiMera Enterprises could be changing hands once again. Li Shin had a steamy night with the CEO, Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus).
But, was it wise to mix business with pleasure? Plus, little does Mr. Shin know, that Gabi dreamt of her ex after spending the night in the board member’s hotel room.
Will Li decide to vote for someone else as CEO so he can pursue Gabi? Or does his scheme involve something else on Days of our Lives? No one knows what the businessman has up his suit sleeves yet.
But, viewers find out over the next couple of weeks. June 6-17 is another wild ride on the NBC sudser. Will Lucas Horton’s bender affect his future with his ex Samantha?
