Dance Moms: Abby Lee Miller Teases Return

On Saturday, the former Dance Moms mentor took to Instagram and posted a photo, which sent many fans into a frenzy. The photo shows a side of the bus with Abby’s face and show’s promotional announcement plastered on it.

The reality star then captioned the snap with, “When I heard I was going to be on the side of a bus… WOW! I thought of Carrie Bradshaw on Sex in the City! I thought wrong! [Laughing out loud]!” This led many to think that Abby is hinting at a return to the show. Others are also convinced that Dance Moms would be picked up for Season 8 in January. However, it remains to be confirmed.

Abby Lee Miller’s Battle With Cancer

With rumors of Abby Lee Miller’s possible return to Dance Moms, avid fans of the show couldn’t help but wonder how the controversial dance instructor copes with her current health condition. She was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, also known as Burkitt Lymphoma.

The reality star’s orthopedic spine surgeon, Dr. Hooman M. Melamed explained in an interview that this condition is a type of cancer that could be life-threatening if not addressed properly. “If we didn’t do something, she was going to die,” Abby’s doctor said at that time. “Her blood pressure was bottoming out. She was not doing well.”

Dance Moms: Abby’s Health Update

Previously, the Dance Moms star ended her stay at a rehabilitation facility and decided to stay at her house in LA, according to E! News. Apparently, the expenses for the stay are too expensive, forcing her to check out earlier.

A source close to Abby also dished about the difficulties she’s facing physically. Doctors told the famous dance instructor that she “may never walk again.” However, Abby is determined to get back on her feet, “vowing to beat this and not only walk but dance again.”

In June, the ALDC founder underwent a second surgery. She even shared a photo of the stitches on her back to keep her fans updated. “My back is finally on the mend. I just wish the top section & bottom would hurry along too! I had 52 staples perfectly aligned and now a bunch of crazy stitches are holding my neck & lumbar region together!” Abby posted.

Abby Lee Miller Gets Support From Former Students

During her 52 birthday in September, the former Dance Moms star celebrated with her family and friends, who never fail to show their love and support amid her battle with cancer.

At Abby’s luncheon held at Buca di Beppo, she was joined by her former Dance Moms students, including JoJo Siwa and her mother Jessalyn. However, some favorite past students weren’t there. Abby had a fall out with some of her mentees, most notably with Maddie Ziegler.
