‘Counting On’: Joy-Anna Duggar’s Stillborn Baby – What Happened?

Counting On‘s Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth and her husband Austin Forsyth lost their baby. Many parents have been in this exact situation when they do to the doctor’s office for a routine visit, only to get life altering news.

Their daughter Annabell Elise didn’t make it into the world. Joy-Anna was only 20 weeks pregnant when they found out their little girl didn’t have a heartbeat.

Counting On: Finding Out Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth Lost Her Baby

The young couple from Counting On were excited to go find out the gender of their baby. Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth went in for the reveal. And soon thereafter, the technician told them that there was no heartbeat. At first, they thought she was saying she needed to fix her equipment. But soon they figured out that the tech meant they lost the baby.

Since Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth was so far along, the doctors had to induce her labor. The couple held their lifeless baby in their arms. When Joy-Anna miscarried her baby, it was a terrible experience for both mother and father. Austin said he was so glad that Joy-Anna made it through the situation. He said he was scared for her until she delivered the baby and the doctors gave her the okay.

At the time of the miscarriage, Joy-Anna was 21 and Austin was 25. This happened in the summer of 2019.

Dealing With a Terrible Loss

The family rallied together to help Joy-Anna of Counting On. Many of the other pregnant women felt bad being around her. But both Austin and wife Joy-Anna Duggar asked them to not feel bad around them. They said they were still happy for their siblings and in-laws that were pregnant. Not long after, the couple announced they were pregnant with another baby. And as of right now, Joy-Anna is 34 weeks pregnant.

Recently Joy-Anna did a tribute to Annabell. It was beautiful and touching. Other Duggar women have gone through these hard experiences and recently, sister Jinger lost a baby. Jinger said that since that happened to her and her husband Jeremy Vuolo from Counting On that she and her sister Joy-Anna are now closer. They are bonding over a similar loss.

The young parents bravely shared their story, even though you could tell they were having an extremely difficult time. It’s never easy dealing with this loss, but she was able to say that she was glad to have people around her that understood.

When Is Counting On Coming Back On? 2020 Premiere Date

On the new episode of the Counting On premiere, we are going to see a lot of joy and sadness. Many are asking, ‘When does the new season of Counting On come on?’ The Counting On season premiere date is July 7th at 8 pm on TLC.

The family from Counting On is going to share in both the good and the bad times. It is interesting to see how they are adapting to the COVID-19 crisis with such a big family. All of the parents want to keep their young children and pregnant ladies safe. Jessa Duggar and husband Ben Seewald even talk about how going to the store can be an argument. They both want to use that time to get out of the house. We don’t get to see as much of Joy-Anna Duggar and her family this season. They have both decided they want to take some time off and work on their own projects. As far as we can tell, the couple isn’t mad about anything. It seems their relationship with the family is still intact.

We are going to see Joy-Anna Duggar bury her baby with her husband and young son Gideon. They also planted a tree near her grave, so they can see it grow like she would be growing now if she were still alive.
