‘Counting On’: Amy Duggar Speaks Out Against Jinger Duggar

Counting On‘s Amy Duggar King is one of the most liberated family members, and many thought Jinger Duggar Vuolo was right behind her. One of those teachings rubbed her cousin Amy the wrong way and she had to speak out about it.

Counting On: Just Pray It Away According to Jinger Duggar Vuolo

Most people didn’t expect Jinger Duggar Vuolo of Counting On or any other Duggar to speak out about mental health. But here we are and Jinger had some interesting things to say. In fact, her advice was just to pray it away. When you’re feeling anxiety and overwhelm, just say a prayer and God will make it go away.

In fact, Jinger Duggar says there is a specific type of prayer you need to practice for anxiety. Pray a grateful prayer and things are supposed to be all better. While everyone can agree that practicing gratitude can help you focus on other things, it isn’t always the answer.

It seemed like things were going very well for Jinger and fans were saying how much they were happy to see this post. But then things started to go south. Some of her fans started posting things like, ‘you know anxiety is a mental illness, right?’ and ‘kind words don’t cure illness.’ This definitely wasn’t one of the best posts from Jinger amidst the stigma with mental illnesses and her cousin Amy Duggar had something to say about it.

It isn’t surprising to fans of TLC’s Counting On that Amy Duggar is the one that would suggest going. She’s never been afraid to do her own thing.

Amy told outraged fans of the show Counting On that it was okay to seek treatment. Amy said that it wasn’t something they need to feel bad about. Even though the family patriarch has allegedly told Amy to be quiet a few times, it seems like there are some things she isn’t willing to let go.

Not long ago, Amy Duggar shared that no woman should be silenced. Many people felt like Amy was talking about herself.
