‘Married at First Sight’: Clint & Gina Body Shame Each Other

Married at First Sight newlyweds Clint Webb and Gina Micheletti seemed like a solid match, but things are falling apart fast. A leaker with inside info claims only one of the five couples from MAFS Nashville makes it past Decision Day. With Clint and Gina body-shaming each other, will they be one that falls apart on the Lifetime series?

Gina Micheletti’s Workaholic Vibe Turns off Clint Webb on Married at First Sight Nashville

In recent seasons, fans were disappointed with how many couples didn’t last. And Clint Webb and Gina Micheletti already seem ill-fit. Many viewers theorize that MAFS is looking for exciting TV versus happily-ever-afters.

Most Married at First Sight seasons end with just one arranged marriage intact. Eight of the 15 seasons that already aired had just one marriage stick. See those below.

  • Season 1: Jamie Otis-Hehner & Doug Hehner
  • Season 5: Ashley Petta & Anthony D’Amico
  • Season 6: Shawniece Jackson & Jephte Pierre
  • Season 7: Bobby Dodd & Danielle Bergman
  • Season 10: Jessica Studer & Austin Hurd
  • Season 12: Briana Myles & Vincent Morales
  • Season 14: Katina Goode & Olajuwon Dickerson
  • Season 15: Linda Elloway & Miguel Santiago

And spoilers leaking out for Season 16 in Nashville say it’ll be a one-marriage standing outcome too. Is it Gina and her husband that last? Hmm…

Three seasons had slightly better odds with two marriages surviving in Seasons 8, 9, and 11. Here are those couples that are still together.

  • Season 8: AJ Vollmoeller & Stephanie Sersen – Kristine Killingsworth & Keith Dewar
  • Season 9: Elizabeth Bice & Jamie Thompson – Deonna McNeill & Gregory Okotie
  • Season 11: Karen Landry & Miles Williams – Amani Smith & Woody Randall

And the worst Married at First Sight seasons were 2-4 and also 13. In those four social experiments, every single couple paired up fell apart.

Now, there are early signs that Gina and Clint will be another statistic in the failure column. First, she’s tied to a brick-and-mortar business she’s building while he wants to be off traveling, sailing, and galivanting.

Plus, the way Gina and her hubby talk to each other in the coming episodes is stunning. They both body shame the other’s appearance.

Clint Wants a Thinner Wife on MAFS Nashville

Soon on the Nashville franchise of MAFS, Clint Webb says some pretty harsh things in front of his wife and the other couples. And Clint irritates not only his wife but at least two of the other wives too.

Clint tells the other couples that “The girls that I’ve dated are very athletic… slender.” Unless it’s a trick of editing, his wife, Gina, looks away from him very irritated. Also, Domynique Kloss pulls a face and Nicole Lilienthal glares at him.

It sounds like this isn’t the only time that Clint Webb opens his mouth wide and shoves in his foot. It also sounds like some of the other Married at First Sight brides might like to shove their foot elsewhere on him…

While Gina Micheletti rolls her eyes, Nicole cam-talks to the MAFS camera in a snit. She said, “he has made comments that were offensive to every woman out there with a real, natural body”. But she’s not done.

Nicole also said “blech” and then added, “Clint, you’re a d*ck”. Meanwhile, Mackinley “Mack” Gilbert tells Clint that “Gina’s sexy” and tells the other groom: “I think you’re crazy.”

It sure looks like Clint’s body-shaming Gina Micheletti. No, she’s not stick-thin, but she’s also not overweight. She’s healthy-sized, curvy, and absolutely gorgeous with a huge smile. But was Clint hitting back over hurt feelings?

Gina Does Some Ginger Hating on Married at First Sight

While Clint Webb’s doing what sounds like criticizing his Married at First Sight wife’s body, she takes aim at his looks. So, it’s body-shaming-adjacent. In the next episode, Gina Micheletti says some unflattering things to her husband.

As they sit by the ocean on their Jamaican honeymoon, she says, “I don’t really vibe with redheads or like gingery features. And not to say you’re unattractive but just that’s what you are.”

The way Lifetime cuts off the quote, you can’t quite tell if she’s saying he’s unattractive or confirming that he’s a ginger. The other question is who insulted whom first.

Because one of them might have been clapping back on a remark that hurt their feelings. Both looks-shaming comments occur during the honeymoons on the Caribbean island.

The super-trailer for Married at First Sight Season 16 showed Gina bickering with Clint. This is a honeymoon fight judging by the backdrop of the sea. Clint denies something that happens and blames some other woman.

Gina bites back and says “I’m done” and her husband hits back again, perhaps looking for the last word. He says “you should be done because she’s got no leg to stand on” then rants “what an unfortunate turn of events… unreal.”

It sure looks like Gina Micheletti’s marriage to Clint Webb is another big “L” for the matchmakers. Pastor Cal says the “system works”, but has he looked at their success rates? Why can’t they get pairings right most of the time? Are these love hopefuls too picky, too toxic, or just wildly mismatched?
