‘Bringing up Bates’: Alyssa Gets Family Visit – Bates’ Boys Tackle Stubborn Tree

Then, the guys tackle a testy tree job and Gil realizes he’s not ready to retire from the tree business just yet. Bringing Up Bates: Kelly Jo & Gil Bates Off To Visit Alyssa Bates Webster
On the next Bringing Up Bates, Alyssa Bates Webster is incredibly excited because her parents are coming out to Florida for a visit. Her dad is ecstatic to spend time with his grandchildren and playing with them makes him feel just like a kid again.
They do lots of pretend play then head out for some ice cream. Of course, they’re all ready for some much-needed quality time together. No doubt, it’s tough to live so far apart and not be able to spend a lot of time together. But, they seem to have a wonderful time and make the most of it on the next episode of Bringing Up Bates.
Gil and the Guys Go Up Against a Tree
Soon, the Bringing Up Bates guys get to work on a tree job that proves to be difficult. Lawson Bates, Trace Bates, and Nathan Bates join Gil for the job. Lawson says it’s just like old times with them working together. And, it’s great to be back into the swing of things. However, Gil is still recovering from surgery.
So, he needs to take it easy – not something he likes to do. But, the guys are a huge help and they make sure he doesn’t overdo it. Also, Zach Bates is bummed because he isn’t able to make it. But, the sneak peek below shows the tree coming down. So, at the end of the day, they get the job done on Bringing Up Bates.
Bringing Up Bates: Gil Not Ready To Step Down From Family Business
Bringing Up Bates viewers will recall Gil owns a tree business that the whole family has become a part of. Over the years, just about all of the Bates’ boys have taken part in the business. Eventually, when Gil is ready to call it quits he will hand it down to them. But, that day isn’t here yet. Even with only one good arm he can’t help but get in there and do his part.
Of course, his sons try to stop him so he doesn’t get hurt but its no use. Gil admits he’s no good at delegating. He doesn’t like to tell people what to do he just does it himself. Clearly, he loves to include his boys but he isn’t ready to hand over the reins as of yet.
