‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Twist: Bill & Ridge’s Bromance Destiny

Bold and the Beautiful has Bill Spencer and Ridge Forrester conspiring to take down Sheila Carter. But will their strange kinship last after they get payback against the nine-toed lunatic? Are B&B writers about to deliver another strange twist unseen in decades on the CBS soap?

Bill Spencer’s Dark History with Ridge Forrester on Bold and the Beautiful

B&B spoilers suggest we’ve got lots more Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) scenes ahead with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). For years, these two have been mortal enemies, bickering over both business and babes. Some of their plots even got murdery…

Both of the men are cheaters, fooling around with married women or while they themselves were married on B&B. Plus, Dollar Bill had his henchman Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) toss Ridge out of a helicopter. Then, the dressmaker tried to return the favor.

They’ve both brawled with many people on Bold and the Beautiful. And also with each other repeatedly. It wasn’t that long ago that he shoved Bill off the balcony at his mansion in a fit of rage. Needless to say, these two are no fans of each other

But now with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) as a mutual enemy, they’ve finally found some common ground. For now, hatred of this villainess unites them. But the big question is whether they’ll resume their long-running rivalry when the dust settles.

B&B Weirdness with Brooke & Taylor’s Friendship Change Everything

If it’s not bizarre enough to see Bill and his enemy Ridge clapping each other on the back in support, what about the twist with the ladies? After decades of rivalry, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) is besties with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).

And their friendship really kicked off in the wake of them telling Ridge that he didn’t get to choose between them. Remember on Bold and the Beautiful, they told him to kick rocks and that they weren’t falling back into old bad habits on the CBS soap opera.

But then, Ridge Forrester abruptly left town — or so we thought. It turns out he was in LA and working with the FBI. It’s not clear yet why the FBI needs help from a dress designer. Exactly what skill set does he bring to the table for this undercover sting?

And it’s also not clear why Bill Spencer went to all this trouble on Bold and Beautiful. They had Sheila dead to rights on two attempted murders which should get her about 20 years in prison. Then they could leave her to rot. The plot’s pretty thin and shaky, it seems…

Will Bill & Ridge be BFF’s Too on Bold and Beautiful?

While Bill’s working with his rival to take down Sheila Carter, it’s not like they’re braiding each other’s hair and having sleepovers. Instead, Dollar Bill’s still poking at him. On the most recent B&B, he called Ridge “Samurai Sam”.

The big question for The Bold and the Beautiful fans is whether this short-term peace they brokered could turn into long-term harmony. How strange would it be for Taylor and Brooke to be BFFs while Ridge and Bill become bros for life?

For now, it’s a pretty fascinating dynamic to watch Ridge Forrester snarking at Bill Spencer, who’s doing the heavy lifting for this undercover deal. As the Spencer CEO said, all the dressmaker’s doing is sitting around and growing out his hair. Ouch.
