‘Bold and the Beautiful’: Ridge & Bill Swirl the Drain as Intrigue Fails

Bold and the Beautiful spoilers have Ridge Forrester and Bill Spencer working their FBI sting for a while longer. But it looks like the bottom falls out of this B&B plot on this CBS soap this week.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Ridge Forrester Pokes at Bill Spencer

Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) suddenly appeared together on the screen last week. Then they seemed to engage in a love-hate relationship when they showed up again this week working a sting together. Either way, it was easy to see they were on friendly terms.

The dressmaker and the publishing tycoon left fans with an intriguing cliffhanger last week. After a few preempted Bold and the Beautiful episodes and then the weekend, viewers flocked to this mystery about to unfold on Monday’s episode.

But somehow B&B managed to let all the air out of the plot’s sails within the first few minutes of these two on the screen. Bill Spencer, along with Ridge Forrester, managed to explain just what is going on for the Bold and Beautiful fans.

But instead of a thrill ride, it turned out to be rather dull for many of the fans. So, now the canvas changes with all eyes on how they’ll finagle a confession out of Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).

B&B Spoilers: Ridge & Bill Ride the Wave

Bill didn’t lose his mind and Ridge never went to Europe. Instead, these two men got together and came up with a ploy to protect their families.

As it stands today, Sheila Carter would only face attempted murder charges over what she did to Ridge’s daughter, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and Finn.

Despite leaving John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and his wife for dead, this wouldn’t be enough to rid the nine-toed woman from their lives for good. Unless it’s a murder charge, she’d eventually make it out of prison again on Bold and the Beautiful.

This is why Bill finagled it for Sheila to walk free. But he wasn’t alone in his plan. Bill drummed this up with Ridge, as they both want her away for life.

So, the plan entails Bill pretending to fall in love with Sheila. And for Ridge to watch as this unfolds. Then, once she’s caught in his fake romance, they planned to get her to confess her past murderous deeds.

These two men brought their plan to the FBI, which was already keeping close tabs on Sheila since she was set free. So, Bill romances the nut job. But it sounds as if he gets sick when she shares his bed.

But Ridge’s part is less stressful. He monitors the surveillance cameras as his cohort shuffles around his home with the woman they want completely gone from their lives.

So, it’s a bit of a stretch to think the FBI would work with Ridge and the publishing icon over this. But this is B&B, so viewers are often presented with things considered a bit out of the norm for the purpose of creating a storyline.

Can Bold and the Beautiful Fix This?

Dollar Bill and his dressmaking buddy have come clean on what they’re doing. Or at least for the fans anyway. Bill Spencer’s family and friends think he is still in la-la-land, and it’s killing him to see how upset they are over him today.

But Ridge, who only lied about taking a fake trip to Europe, is still in the good graces of those he loves. So, now that Bold and the Beautiful took the wind out of the sails for this plot, can they fix it?

Viewers are not thrilled with the way things turned out. Maybe because the explanation is so simple. Ridge and his ex-rival got together to take down Sheila. When doing so they also incorporated the FBI.

Ridge Forrester even explained his long hair. He got it from sitting around in that surveillance room just watching Bill Spencer do his thing. So, it’s not as if he plays a significant part in this sting, he’s just hanging out with the FBI guy watching…

As of today, it looks like Bill Spencer continues to try and squeeze the truth out of his lunatic lover. At the same time, Ridge Forrester hangs back and keeps an eye on his buddy’s progress. But this isn’t as thrilling as B&B fans hoped it would be.

Today, some fans think it looks like the CBS soap dropped the chance for a bang-up plot. So, unless something changes drastically, the Bill – Sheila crazy hookup puts fans wanting another ending to this story.
