‘Bold and the Beautiful’: Thomas Blamed for CPS Call – Is There any Hope for Redemption
Did Bold and the Beautiful twist this CPS story so Thomas Forrester winds up in trouble but only because he’s covering for the real culprit? Could the storyline that has him looking unhinged again actually be about his redemption on B&B on CBS?
That was one theory we’d hoped to see play out. But after today’s B&B where he admitted out loud what he’s done, it seems there’s no hope for that hunk!
Thomas Forrester Takes the Fall for the Call on Bold and the Beautiful
It’s pretty clear on B&B that someone used the voice-modifying app to stage the call to CPS. The immediate assumption is that it’s Thomas Forrester (Mattew Atkinson). No doubt, he despises Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).
But both Thomas and Brooke are extremely obvious suspects on The Bold and the Beautiful. Plus, if one of them had called CPS to come check on Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri), we’d have seen some flashback moments by now.
This week, Douglas uses the app again trying to get out of doing his homework and Thomas snaps at him. This scene feels like a set-up to make Thomas Forrester look unhinged. Of course, that’s exactly how it turned out to be. He’s back to his old tricks…
B&B Twist: Douglas Forrester the Real Culprit? Nope — It’s His Dad!
Could it be that it’s adorable little Douglas that set up Grandma Brooke to take a fall on Bold and the Beautiful? Consider this. Every time Brooke is with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) or Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), all she does is drag Thomas.
She says vile things about him and never gives him credit for the fact he had a tumor in his brain for years. And Brooke said repeatedly she doesn’t want Thomas Forrester around his son. What if Douglas heard her and feared she’d cut his dad out of his life?
Douglas might have also heard talk of CPS on Bold and the Beautiful. He’s a smart kid and if he knew a CPS call would get her in trouble, he might do it. Plus, he could have recorded her trash-talking his dad to use to fake the call. Is Douglas the culprit?
But no. The B&B writers did what they alwaaaays do. They made Thomas the bad guy which will ultimately vindicate Brooke’s paranoia. And it could wreck the “Tridge” reunion that a faction of the fans hoped would stick.
Hope Logan Stands by Thomas on Bold and the Beautiful?
No doubt, Thomas will try hard to hide that he made the call. With no one believing Brooke, Hope’s not even eying her co-parent with suspicion. But her eyes are on Thomas Forrester a LOT these days on Bold and the Beautiful…
If Thomas can keep on covering his tracks, maybe he can flip Hope into falling for him at last. At the very least, she won’t hear another foul word from Brooke or Liam about her co-parent. At least until someone proves he did it.

It now seems like there’s no chance for any redemption for Thomas Forrester. Maybe Douglas will bust him for using the app. But either way, the hottie with the most ripped dad body is in deep trouble soon for calling CPS on himself!
