‘Bold and the Beautiful’: Ridge Next to Fake a Romance for FBI?

Bold and the Beautiful has Ridge Forrester back from his soul-searching journey stepping into a new role that no one saw coming on the CBS soap. A quick B&B scene seems to suggest that the dressmaker and his rival are working together with the FBI to bring down the woman with nine toes.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Ridge Forrester Bombshell Drops?

B&B delivered quite the shocker with the sudden appearance of Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) this week. While viewers expected him back, no one expected him to be in cahoots with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).

So, Bold and the Beautiful set the stage for upcoming episodes with Bill and Ridge working together. While we only got a glimpse of an emblem, it was enough for the soap’s fans to learn who these two main characters were working with… the FBI.

Bill Spencer’s infatuation with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was explained in the same Bold and Beautiful scene where Ridge popped up. Viewers learned that every sappy word that Bill said to Sheila made him sick.

But he apparently keeps up the ploy to help the FBI. And somehow Ridge Forrester fits into this plan. But how?

B&B Spoilers: Ridge Looking Dapper

One of the first things that The Bold and the Beautiful fans noticed was the change in Ridge Forrester’s appearance. His hair is long, and he’s got some straggly facial hair going on today.

But what seems a bit hard to figure out is what B&B has in store for him. Brian Yang offered a hint of “a little run” on Bold and the Beautiful this week, in the tweet below.

So, he’s the FBI agent working with Ridge and Bill. It doesn’t sound like he’ll be around for too long, so whatever is in store for these two iconic male characters should happen fast.

It looks like the FBI may have picked the men who Sheila Carter would most likely gravitate to in this ploy to shake the truth out of her. Sheila seems to want the men who love Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).

Plus, the deranged woman likes the things money can buy. So, both Bill and Ridge fit that description. Now it looks like the FBI planned to have Bill Spencer try and woo the truth out of Sheila. But what about Ridge, did Bold and the Beautiful make him plan B if Sheila doesn’t come clean for Bill?

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: A Leading Man for Sheila Carter?

No one expected Bill Spencer to get mixed up with Sheila, but it happened anyway. It sounds like his mission is to find where the bodies are or get some confessions. He’s fishing for the murders committed by this demented woman.

But it’s not working, or at least that’s the way it sounded as he talked to Ridge Forrester. So, maybe Bold and the Beautiful scripts Ridge as a backup plan. After all, he did call the publishing tycoon his “partner” in whatever it is they’re doing with the FBI.

If Bill fails to get a confession of murder out of the nut job, maybe the next step in the plan is for Ridge to try and worm his way in as a new fake lover for Sheila.

While it’s great for the fans to see Ridge Forrester returning to Bold and the Beautiful, it’s odd to see where he is right now. So what else could explain his presence with the FBI and his long-time rival on the CBS soap?
