‘Bold and the Beautiful’: Bill Helps Ridge Keep Dutiful Husband Disguise
Bold and the Beautiful has Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) giving Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) a helping hand without meaning to on the CBS soap.
As luck would have it, the stars align for the dressmaker in upcoming B&B episodes. It looks like his decision is made, for which he cannot be faulted. Then for a bonus, he can’t be accused of taking on a consultation prize.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Ridge Forrester Steps in It
Ridge Forrester moved in a bit closer to Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) this week on B&B. He told her he loved her and led her to assume his future plans include her.
If this talk didn’t happen, he could have lost both Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes. But as luck would have it, he covered all the bases without even knowing it.
And yes, his long-time rival, Bill helps Ridge work his magic. Bill Spencer also has no idea at the time that he’s doing his once archenemy a favor. So, Ridge looks like a fine upstanding gentleman in what Bold and the Beautiful is about to unfold. Furthermore, he does this without even trying.
B&B Spoilers: Bill Spencer Becomes Ridge’s Trump Card
So, Bold and the Beautiful fans saw Ridge check in with Taylor. He did this after enduring a round of come-home-to-mommy with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
The timing of this visit with Taylor couldn’t be better. The topic of their conversation likely saves Taylor Hayes down the line from questioning about being second fiddle.
B&B spoilers have Bill stopping by Brooke’s house, where she is alone. The spoilers say the conversation starts with Bill talking about Katie Logan (Heather Tom). But that line of conversation doesn’t last long as it drifts towards memory lane for Brooke and Bill.
Next, Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge Forrester walks in to find Brooke in the arms of Bill Spencer. It is likely an embrace of friendship Ridge happens to see.
But of course, that’s not what it looks like to him. So, off he goes, likely back to Taylor as B&B rolls into its Friday cliffhanger.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Luck Shines on the Dressmaker
As luck would have it, Ridge walks away from this as an upstanding guy. First, he visited with Taylor and left her with visions of a possible future with him.
If he didn’t have that talk, Taylor would always worry that he came back to her because his wife screwed up. She’d likely question if she was his second choice, who won by default.
But that little visit before he walks in on Bill embracing his wife takes care of that in the upcoming Bold and the Beautiful episodes. Of course, Ridge had no way of knowing, so it wasn’t planned that way. But the stars happened to align that way for him.

What Ridge had in mind when he walked through that door was likely telling his wife he was moving into the Forrester estate. He was probably ready to handle it delicately because Brooke would without a doubt become irate.
But Bill Spencer took care of all of that for Ridge. He can now say that his final straw is the sight of Bill hugging his wife. So, the path is paved for Ridge Forrester’s exit from his marriage without him sweating through an emotional talk that he likely came to have.
But the bonus in all of this is that he won’t have to try and convince his ex that she’s the one. Without that previous visit, it would have looked as if he chose her only after he saw Bill Spencer with his wife.
So, this will make Ridge Forrester’s transition into his new future all the easier thanks to his rival Bill Spencer. Not to mention covering all the bases with that recent chat with the mother of his children on the CBS soap.
