‘Bold and the Beautiful’: OG Stephanie Rolls Over in Grave as Brooke Rewrites History
Bold and the Beautiful writers need a history lesson on OG Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery), it seems. Because Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) spouted off a bunch of nonsense this week. As did Eric Forrester (John McCook). Perhaps they and the writers at CBS daytime need to spend some time watching episodes from back in the day with Stephanie versus Brooke. Because, about now, Stephanie must be rolling in her grave over the hypocrisy. Check it out.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Stephanie Forrester Hated Brooke Logan for Decades
B&B spoilers suspect Stephanie Forrester wouldn’t like Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) any more than she did Brooke Logan. Clearly, Eric likes feisty women. However, Bold and the Beautiful‘s trying to rewrite history and the Forrester matriarch’s past. Because she was volatile and truly hated Brooke – until a change of heart at the end of her life.
Now, Brooke Logan said Stephanie Forrester would be “proud of her” for defending her family. But, longtime Bold and the Beautiful watchers know Stephanie had to defend her family from Brooke all those years. In fact, Stephanie slapped, strangled, and threatened to shoot Brooke Logan many times.
Recall, Brooke Logan slept with both Stephanie’s sons and her husband. And had children with her husband and one son. So, Stephanie Forrester despised Brooke for most of their time on the soap together. She nicknamed Brooke the “sl*t of the valley” and constantly tried to get her out of the Forrester’s lives on Bold and the Beautiful. Then right before she died, the two women finally made amends.
B&B Spoilers: Does Eric Have Amnesia About His Late Wife?
Many old school Bold and the Beautiful viewers must have laughed out loud at some of the recent (and very inaccurate dialogue). Particularly when Eric told Quinn that he expects better of his wife – and that his wife would never act that way. As you can see in the wonderful video tweet above from uber-fan Matt Hanvey, Stephanie Forrester was never one to reign in her emotions.
And, if Stephanie was still alive and Brooke Logan came in her house making demands like that, she’d be lucky to leave with just a slap. Because, Eric’s wife, the OG Forrester matriarch slapped men and women. She blackmailed, shot people, and would shove a b**** over a balcony if she needed to. Fans know Stephanie Forrester didn’t play when it came to defending her family.
Last week’s Bold and the Beautiful had Quinn slap Brooke Logan and tell her “Stephanie taught you how to slap? B**** you should have learned that from me”. That was something Eric’s first wife would have done. Quinn’s ready to teach her a lesson. Whether you’re Team Quinn or Team Brooke, this is getting good. And let’s face it – Brooke Logan’s no saint. She’s a man stealer at heart.
Bold and the Beautiful: Who Would Stephanie Forrester Side With?
On the most recent B&B, Brooke Logan said the two of them didn’t belong there. referring to Shauna and Quinn. But, Stephanie Forrester made it very clear she didn’t think Brooke belonged in her house back in the day. Remember, it was only at the end of Stephanie Forrester’s life that she and Brooke Logan made nice. And at the end of the day, Quinn makes Eric happy. But Stephanie might hate her too.
If you’re new to Bold and the Beautiful, you may take Brooke Logan’s recent dialogue at face value. But, it contradicts the bulk of the history of the CBS sudser. But, even if you’re in the dark about OG Stephanie or have the same amnesia that seems to strike Eric and Brooke, it’s still very juicy drama. And Stephanie Forrester fans know that she was no shrinking violet.
No doubt, we can expect lots more slaptastic drama between Quinn and Brooke Logan. And, it’ll be interesting to see whose portrait’s over the Forrester fireplace when all’s said and done. However, no matter if you’re rooting for Eric’s current wife or ex-wife, is important to know that Brooke Logan’s fuzzy on her history about Stephanie Forrester. And the B&B writers seem to be, too…
