‘Bold and the Beautiful’: Li Reveals Reason She Hides Finn from Steffy

Bold and the Beautiful has Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) continue with the cruel deed of keeping Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) from her husband Finn.

John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is alive, but Li is still the only one who knows this on the CBS soap. But why is she doing something so awful to the grieving widow on B&B?

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Li Finnegan Keeps Steffy Forrester in the Dark

B&B fans now know what Li Finnegan thinks because she talks out loud to an unresponsive Finn. Last week on Bold and the Beautiful viewers learned that she realizes Steffy Forrester is in a lot of pain over her loss.

But yet she doesn’t say anything to the grieving wife of John Finnegan. Li ups and leaves in a hurry once the topic of Finn’s final services pops up. Her wording baffles Steffy Forrester, who believes her mother-in-law is keeping something from her.

Finn might be Li’s son but he’s also Steffy’s husband. So, his wife has every right to discuss his final farewell with her. But this mother-in-law scrambles to get away despite Steffy trying to pin her down.

B&B spoilers have Li Finnegan continuing to keep Finn under wraps. Despite the relief, it would bring to his wife, this adoptive mother doesn’t seem to budge.

B&B Spoilers: Li Worried Finn was in Danger

When Bold and the Beautiful first revealed that Finn was alive, fans couldn’t understand why she kept this a secret. But some viewers thought she had a reason for this.

This adoptive mom might have worried about any danger lurking. Not knowing who the shooter was at the time, she might have feared they’d come back.

If the shooter learned he was alive, they could come back to finish him off. But now she knows the identity of the shooter, Sheila Carter. So, that’s not the case. The crazed woman is behind bars.

After Li talked with her unconscious son this week, her reasons for hiding Finn became clear. It seems that today on B&B she’s only invested in keeping her son alive. That’s what her hidden agenda is all about.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Keeping Finn Alive

To keep her son alive, Li Finnegan needs to keep Finn hidden. She was the only medical professional who believed Finn had a chance.

She said everyone else gave up on him, but not her. Once again, this adoptive mom shared this with her son while talking out loud to him on B&B.

She vows not to let Finn go. So, after what she said on Bold and the Beautiful, it all starts to make sense.

B&B Spoilers: How Would Steffy Call the Shots?

When it comes time for making medical decisions for Finn, Steffy would trump Li, as she is his wife. So, Li likely worries that her daughter-in-law might not see it her way.

If she found out Finn was alive, Steffy might demand he’d be taken to a hospital. There they would tell her the same thing they told his mother — there’s no hope.

So, Li might also worry that John Finnegan’s wife could agree with the doctors and let him go. Steffy Forrester is now coherent and capable of making decisions for her husband. B&B spoilers promise a few more odd interactions for Steffy with Finn’s mother.

Then Li saw Steffy Forrester hugging Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) through the window. So, after seeing this, it sounded like it worried her. When she returned to Finn she continued talking to her unresponsive son on Bold and the Beautiful.

She said she can only hope that his wife is worthy of John Finnegan’s love. So, Li may now also have concerns that her daughter-in-law might still have feelings for Liam. This may muddy up the water for the frazzled woman.

This may cause Li not to take any chances by telling Steffy Forrester that John Finnegan is alive. Then his fate would be in Steffy’s hands and out of hers altogether.

So, it seems Li Finnegan revealed the real reason she won’t tell a soul that Finn is still alive — she’s afraid to lose him.
