‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Finn’s Mom Clashes With Steffy over Family

Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say the mom of John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) discovers that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) doesn’t share her views on a few things –  making way for drama. The CBS soap introduces future in-laws for Steffy but Finn’s folks bring much more to the mix than just a new set of B&B grandparents for baby Hayes Finnegan.

John Finnegan’s parents arrive just weeks from now. Finn’s mom, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), and his dad, Jack Finnegan (Ted King) were called to town by Finn. Now that baby Hayes Finnegan has made Steffy a family of four with Finn, he wants to get married right away. Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that the doc looks at marriage as a way of making their family complete.

But Steffy Forrester puts the brakes on her future husband’s urgency. She wants the chance to meet his parents before they walk down the aisle. So, John Finnegan obliges. First, his dad shows up at the end of the month – then his mom the week after. Their arrival completes Steffy Forrester’s wish. But Finn is worried still. Bold and the Beautiful spoilers suggest that Finn’s very comfortable with the Forrester family. To him, Steffy’s family is his as well. But she wants to meet John Finnegan’s folks before becoming his Mrs. But her wedding to the handsome doc is not contingent upon his parents. Although it sounds as if her husband-to-be doesn’t realize this.

So, Finn becomes worried over Steffy Forrester meeting his mom and dad. It seems they are different than her fam – which could be a very good thing. Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease what’s behind Steffy’s insistence on meeting her future in-laws before the wedding. It’s not that she wants to size them up – as Finn suspects. No, Steffy is old fashioned when it comes to matters of the heart and marriage.

Steffy Forrester wouldn’t think of getting married without showing the proper respect to Finn’s mother and father. So, for Steffy, all she wants to do is make sure to meet his parents and get to know them a little before they say “I do”. After all, she’s already gone through a pregnancy journey and given birth to their grandchild without meeting them.

One of the first things fans learn about Li Finnegan, Finn’s mom, is that her views on kids differ greatly from Steffy Forrester’s. It seems Li is a top-notch surgeon who dove into her career and never had time for kids. Then, it appears as if she realized later on in life that she wanted a child and apparently that’s where Finn came in.

There’s a reason Bold and the Beautiful finds a way to let the fans know about this. This might just lay the foundation for a new storyline, one that they promised long ago.

A while back, the spoilers promised a shocker when it comes to meeting Finn’s biological mother. They also said she is already on Bold and the Beautiful. So, going by what the spoilers suggested months ago, Li might be Finn’s adoptive mom.

If this is the case, then that promised shocker may still come into play. Li may recognize the woman who gave birth to Finn among one of the Forrester, Logan, or Spencer family members. Wait to see on this Bold and the Beautiful rumor…

B&B Spoilers: For Now Li is Mother of John Finnegan

As the Bold and the Beautiful episodes roll out, Li Finnegan is about to meet Steffy. She soon realizes that her future daughter-in-law is also a career woman. But instead of medicine, Finn’s future wife runs a lucrative international business. But nothing stopped her from starting a family.

So, it looks like Bold and the Beautiful may have the maternal instincts in Steffy spark a bit of jealousy with her future mom-in-law. She’ll see that Steffy accomplished what she couldn’t, have both a family and a career.

It also sounds as if Finn didn’t have the closeness with his family that he sees within the Forrester clan. Bold and the Beautiful wanted viewers to know about Li’s backstory when it came to starting a family for some reason.

So, it looks like Steffy Forrester and her fiance’s mom differ in their thoughts about family. B&B spoilers hint at fans soon catching the differences between the two women on this CBS soap.
