Bold and the Beautiful: Li’s House Festers a Finnegan Scandal?

Bold and the Beautiful hints at Li Finnegan becoming desperate to keep a lid on what’s behind that rage eating her alive today on the CBS soap. It also looks like Luna Nozawa was conceived in the home that Li shared with her husband and son many years ago. But which Finnegan man is the DNA donor?

Bold and the Beautiful: Li Finnegan Fights Losing Battle

It looks like Bold and the Beautiful dropped a huge hint about something that went on at Li Finnegan’s (Naomi Matsuda) home a little over 20 years ago. The occupants of the house at the time were Li, her husband, and her college-age son, Finn.

Then someone new came to live with them in this Bold and Beautiful backstory. That was Li Finnegan’s little sister, Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park). So back then Li, Jack Finnegan (Ted King), John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), and Poppy were all under one roof.

This week on Bold and the Beautiful, when Finn ran into Poppy and her daughter, Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada), at Forrester Creations, he reminisced a bit. He talked about the time Poppy lived with his family.

This was something not known to Luna. But it seemed to make Poppy uncomfortable hearing what else Finn had to say. He remembers this as a good time in his life. But Finn also said that one day Poppy was just gone – she up and left, and he had no idea why.

B&B Spoilers: Could Finn Be Luna’s Father?

The Bold and the Beautiful fans are in hot pursuit of this possible storyline on social media. The soap dropped hints that made Finn a contender in the pool of possible dads for Luna Nozawa.

But first, B&B seemed to plant all the seeds needed to make Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) the shoo-in as Luna’s mystery dad. But Poppy denied that this week. Still, there’s a chance she is lying. But as fans suggest, there’s no reason for her to lie. Bill would make a wonderful dad. So if Bill is not the father, which seems to be the case, who is the young intern’s DNA donor on Bold and the Beautiful?

Finn offered up a rough timeline on B&B this week. So, his age at the time that Poppy lived with his family fits for fathering a child who is Luna’s age today. But it is also obvious if this is the case, Finn has no idea that he is the father of a 20-year-old.

Give & Take for Daddy Finn

Some fans, won’t even think about Li’s son as a possible father to her niece. They cite Finn’s comfort level around Poppy. He doesn’t look at her as you would an old conquest. Instead, he treats her as if you’d expect almost anyone to treat an aunt. So his comfort level says no to these Bold and the Beautiful viewers.

But those who see this as a likely scenario suggest this explains Li Finnegan’s desperate attempts to keep Luna away from Finn. If Finn is her dad, Poppy might not know that Li is aware of this. Li is crafty, and if she ever suspected that her sister’s baby was John Finnegan’s, she likely did some secret DNA tests. That would be easy for a doctor who worked in the hospital.

If the older sister secretly did this, it could account for Li not throwing this in her baby sister’s face. The B&B fans, who see this as a possibility, suggest that Poppy has no idea that Li knows. Because if Poppy was aware, they would be bringing this up in their conversations.

Those fans who think she knows, point to Poppy taunting Li about being grandmothers together. If Poppy were to marry Bill, she teased Li how they would each be grandmothers to the same kids.

At the time, it sounded like she referred to Bill being the grandfather of Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) daughter. But, there did seem to be a private dig in there between Li Finnegan and her free-spirited sister. So maybe they both know that Luna’s dad makes Li a grandmother to Luna.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Could Li’s Husband Be Luna’s Father?

Li Finnegan threw Jack Finnegan (Ted King) out with the garbage when she found out that he betrayed her with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Yes, there was a lot more involved, as he brought the baby home from his affair and never let Li know he was the father.

But, she didn’t blink an eye while booting him. And back then, she said she thought Jack was a faithful husband all those years. So, if that hatred she spews at her sister and niece is because Jack is Luna’s father, it doesn’t fit with what she’s said in the past.

That said, if she discovered a love affair between her husband and sister, Jack would likely have been gone a long time ago. But this is Bold and the Beautiful, so the writers could just ignore that little speech she made. Then it would be easy to reveal Jack as her father.

But for the possibilities regarding Jack Finnegan, Poppy was a free spirit. Plus, because of Sheila, we all know Jack has a wandering eye.

So, with Li Finnegan gone working long hours at the hospital, and Finn in college full time all day, well that leaves Jack and Poppy at home alone. Jack is likely the more feasible character to have an affair with Poppy all those years ago. But you just never know where the CBS soap ends up with this plot.
