Bold and the Beautiful: Li’s Hatred Toward Poppy – Reason Exposed?
Bold and the Beautiful has Li Finnegan spewing hatred toward her sister Poppy Nozawa every time they come face to face, but now it looks like the reason starts to surface on the CBS soap.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Poppy Nozawa Avoids the Truth
Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) asked her mom, Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) about her father. More specifically, she wanted to know if her dad was Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
Poppy denied this, but Luna didn’t buy it this week on Bold and the Beautiful. So, it looks like either Poppy didn’t tell her the truth or Bill is indeed not the man who spawned the FC intern a little over 20 years ago.
If Bill is not Luna’s dad, then this might expose the reason for all this sibling anger. Li Finnegan shows nothing but hatred toward Poppy Nozawa, so another theory moves to first place if Bill is not Luna’s father.
One thing her mom has said to Luna about her father was that she was “born out of love.” It is just too easy for Bill to be her father after all the hints and clues dropped over the last few weeks. B&B likely puts a twist on this storyline. And it looks like that twist has to do with Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda).
B&B Spoilers: Li Finnegan’s Reason for Detesting Poppy?
There’s no doubt about it, Li just can’t stomach being anywhere near her sister, Poppy Nozawa. So far, this little sister seems like a gem on Bold and Beautiful. But for some unknown reason, Li seems to hate her.
Despite Luna not doing a thing to her aunt, that hatred seems to spread to her as well. Li just doesn’t like this arm of her family, but why?
Finn offered enough hints in the past for the Bold and the Beautiful fans to know his mother was always busy. John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) always felt loved. But his mom was busy being a doctor for the majority of his life.
So, chances are she wasn’t at home a lot as her career kept her at the hospital. It’s not clear what Li’s marriage looked like during those years, but maybe Jack Finnegan (Ted King) found himself lonely at times and strayed.
Well, we know he did at least once, as he fathered Finn with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). But Luna is younger than Finn, so maybe, just maybe, Jack became smitten once again. But this time with Li’s little sister, Poppy Nozawa.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Jack Finnegan Played Around on Li
This could be a case of a lonely husband, Jack, whose wife, Li, is gone for long hours at a time. Then… hypothetically, in walks the free-spirited Poppy Nozawa, Jack’s sister-in-law.
It’s not unheard of for a husband to fall in love with his wife’s little sister. If this is the way Bold and Beautiful intends to play this out, then Li Finnegan may suspect that Jack Finnegan is Luna’s father. Or, she may even know that she is.
Poppy doesn’t think anyone knows the identity of her daughter’s father. But if this theory plays out, then Li could have known all this time and not said anything. She could have run a DNA test years ago to find out who fathered Luna.
I am still hoping Luna is Jack's kid. For many reasons, but also there's no need for her to be a blood Spencer. If Boppy marries, Bill can still be a protective stepfather who looks out for her.

She certainly would have access to all she needed. If Poppy had Jack’s baby, that baby would have some of the same DNA as Li. Then, being a doctor, the test would be easy to do without anyone knowing.
This would explain a lot of what the viewers have seen so far on Bold and the Beautiful. Remember the day the big sister broke down crying that Poppy could have a child, but she could not? There may be more to this, and Jack Finnegan might be the missing factor in this equation.
So, if Jack is the man who fathered Luna, then Poppy loved him at the time. Because she continues to tell Luna she was born out of love. This would make Finn her half-sibling and open up all kinds of possibilities on the CBS soap.
