‘Bold and the Beautiful’: Jack Surfaces with Awful Backstory and Creepy Urges
Bold and the Beautiful finally gave up some info on Jack Finnegan, the guy who came to the CBS soap under a cloud of mystery from the get-go. Sure, we knew he was Finn’s father, but other than siring a son, little else was clear about this man.
Now, we learn that he’s one of the most powerful criminal defense attorneys in LA. So, his career finally surfaces when he finds himself beckoned by a nut job he once found irresistible.
Plus, she reminded him of that during his visit with her in prison. So B&B hints – she’s facing murder charges and he’s a criminal defense attorney.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Jack Finnegan Beckoned
It looks like Jack Finnegan (Ted King) did just what Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) wanted him to do. He showed up at the prison. But only after this twisted woman from his past requested that he visit her.
Don’t forget about the tidbit that Sheila tossed out for all to hear last week on Bold and the Beautiful. She told her buddy, the former prison guard, about another visitor she waits on.
This demented woman requested the attending physician from the hospital where she went when suffering a heart attack come and see her. So, that would be John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), her estranged son.
While he might not go if he knew who the prisoner was. But it’s possible the hospital just sends him to provide medical attention to who he thinks is someone random.
But Finn may very well walk into the prison this week on Bold and the Beautiful just as his father is visiting his birth mother. Jack and Finn are also estranged after the lies his father told both him and his adoptive mom, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda).
So, if Finn happens to make his house call at the same time his father is there, this can’t be good for the already estranged father and son.
B&B Spoilers: Sheila Carter Casts Creepy Spell on Jack
It’s as if Sheila Carter has a line that she uses on any man that she’s slept with in the past. Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) got pretty much the same seductive sentences that she spewed at Jack Finnegan this week.
In a soft voice this week on Bold and the Beautiful, she tells Jack that they share a special connection. She continues by revealing how the time she spent with him was some of the best times in her life.
That sounded good, but those are just about the same words she spoke softly to Deacon during his visit to her in prison.
Just like Deacon on Bold and the Beautiful, it looks like Jack got pulled in by her art of seduction. It’s almost as if she woke up some creepy urge in Jack from days gone by.
But Jack Finnegan looks a bit disheveled in comparison to his previous appearances on B&B. All except for those shiny boots viewers got to see before his face appeared.
So, maybe he is going through a rough time now that he’s not on the best of terms with his family. But it’s likely he can’t forget how happy his family was until the she-devil raised her wicked head.
Although, you could see that Jack battles with himself. He made the attempt to turn around and walk out only to stop after a little coaxing from Sheila. But this is B&B, so even if he does walk out… he’ll be back.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: So Where Does This Go?
Is it a coincidence that we finally learn Jack is a highly sought-after criminal defense attorney from Sheila as she sits in prison? Probably not. It looks more like she’s about to try to wrangle him in to take her case.
But Bold and the Beautiful does not script him as a stupid man. So, he would realize that if he defended this nut job in court it would push his wife and son even further away.

Still, Sheila said to Jack that we can both help each other after she diagnosed him as “lonely.” But she probably doesn’t mean they can keep each other company because she’s lonely too.
No, this murdering entity more than likely has some info on Jack that he wouldn’t want to get out. So, maybe Jack Finnegan turns into a puppet for the woman who usually ends up pulling the strings of anyone she gets close to.
But one thing is for sure, a much creepier and dark Jack Finnegan showed up at the prison. This can only be hints of things to come on the CBS soap.
