Bold and the Beautiful: Eric Came Back with Something Odd from the Other Side?
Bold and the Beautiful had Eric Forrester come back seemingly unscathed from his near-death experience, but it soon looks like that’s not the case on the CBS soap.
Bold and the Beautiful: Eric Forrester Drums Up a Party
Eric Forrester (John McCook) received great news about his health this week. So he whipped up an impromptu family party. He wants to celebrate after he got such a great prognosis.
There’s more to this party than meets the eye, he’s planning on making Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) his wife. But despite the Forrester patriarch now seemingly enjoying his new lease on life, something appears amiss.
He’s warned against any excitement this week on Bold and Beautiful. His grandson-in-law reminded him that it’s still early in the game when it comes to his recovery.
Finn attributed this miraculous recovery to the Forrester patriarch’s will to live. But of course, the head of the Forrester family gives credit to his grandson-in-law, Dr. John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). After all, Finn performed the procedure that saved his life.
B&B Spoilers: Eric Seems Uneasy
While Eric Forrester says all the right things as someone who came back from the dead. Still, there seems to be some undercurrent that rattles him.
He’s looking anxious, even after he was given a clean bill of health this week on Bold and the Beautiful. Sure, he jokes that he wants a martini but can’t have one. Still, it seems something else eats at him these days.
That said, what he said to his son this week might explain it. But at the same time, it sparks some serious worry for Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Bold and the Beautiful: Ridge Forrester Worries About His Father
Ridge and Eric had a heart-to-heart talk this week on B&B. What the son heard his dad say left him looking worried. Ridge is responsible for making the decision that put his dad in Finn’s hands to save his life.
Ridge knows that his father trusted him to follow through on a hard decision. That was not to bring him back to life with any medically induced treatment. But this devoted son came under a flood of pressure from other Bold and Beautiful family members.
Well, Eric Forrester was given a death sentence, but Finn said a cutting-edge treatment could give him another chance. Going against his father’s wishes, Ridge gave the okay for that procedure to take place. Since that day, he’s tried to shake off the guilt.
That said, his father did die, but only for a few minutes, until they brought him back. But it looks like Bold and the Beautiful is beginning to show us the changed Forrester patriarch that they promised in the B&B spoilers.
B&B: Eric Rises From the Dead a Changed Man?
Ridge worried if he had done the right thing for his father or not. Since Eric’s come back to life, his son had his moments of doubt. But they seem to clear up once he sees his dad getting better.
But this week on Bold and the Beautiful, Eric Forrester told his son about the beautiful place he went to when he died. He also said he didn’t want to come back. He saw people that he loved, including Ridge’s mother.

So far, Eric spends his days rattling around the Forrester mansion. In every scene, Donna is his caretaker. She surrounds him with healthy drinks and fresh fruit.
Once this party goes off, it’s likely Bold and the Beautiful will also draw attention to what Eric cannot do, more so than what he can.
Bold and the Beautiful: Awakening with Baggage in Tow
Eric Forrester brought back something with him when he returned from the dead. He said described it this week on Bold and the Beautiful. That’s the haunting need to promote the love, the same kind of love, that he felt from those around him on the other side.
It looks like Bold and the Beautiful had Eric coming back to life with an agenda. While everyone enjoys Eric’s outlook, it seems Ridge sees his father on some type of strange mission.

It looks as if he’s going to try to recreate what he had when he was dead for those fleeting moments. Eric can’t shake that astronomical feeling of love and well-being he experienced with his near-death event.
So, it could be he wants to recreate that feeling not only for him but for those he loves as well. It looks like Eric gets a jump start by marrying Donna this week on Bold and Beautiful.
It’s hard to imagine any worries would come along with a man spreading love to those around him. But depending upon how far Bold and the Beautiful takes Eric’s need for trying to recreate this, well, Ridge Forrester’s worries might be for a reason on this CBS soap.
