Bold and the Beautiful: Eric Forrester Goes Home Drastically Changed?
Bold and the Beautiful has Eric Forrester getting the green light to go home as long as nothing goes wrong before the time comes to discharge him on the CBS soap. Finn said he could go home barring any setbacks. And he said that a few times, so hopefully that’s not a hint of things to come. But B&B spoilers indicate there’s a change in store for this head of the Forrester family, and some of that popped up already this week.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Eric Forrester’s Homecoming
Eric Forrester (John McCook) is teary-eyed while lying in his hospital bed. But he’s not sad, he is just overcome by the love and joy he feels from people around him. RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) and Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) made his day in a recent episode.
RJ’s grandfather was overjoyed to see him together with Luna recently on Bold and Beautiful. It’s easy to see that RJ has a big piece of his grandfather’s heart.
Plus, the Forrester patriarch has taken Luna in as part of the family as well. When the Bold and the Beautiful spoilers suggest that Eric Forrester changes, they don’t offer many details as to what that looks like.
You don’t know if this change will be a welcome one for those around him or a concerning change for his loved ones. Or for Eric Forrester, it could be a little bit of both.
B&B Spoilers: Eric is Too Good To Be True?
Bold and the Beautiful spoilers seemed to hint that this change has to do with the iconic dress designer feeling blessed. So, maybe Eric starts on a path of doing good deeds. He could even become somewhat of a philanthropist with his amassed fortune.
It would be wonderful for anyone to suddenly take stock of their blessings and start sharing their wealth. But what if he goes overboard? Maybe Bold and the Beautiful has him being so generous that it worries his family.
But his generosity doesn’t have to be with material things. Bold and the Beautiful could decide to script Eric as someone who suddenly sees second chances. He could even include giving a second chance to his enemies.
So, if he becomes generous with forgiveness and /or money, this could lead him down a rocky path with his family.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Second Chances a New Theme?
Eric Forrester’s change could have to do with giving others second chances. Almost like his second chance at life. He is alive despite making his peace with dying, as he said this week on the show. So, maybe he starts to feel life is short and there’s no time to spend on collecting enemies.
Sure, this is a stretch, but maybe it has to do with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). By now, The Bold and the Beautiful grapevine has him well-informed about the progress Sheila seemed to have made while under the wing of Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). Eric Forrester always felt somewhat responsible for what she’s done to his loved ones after bringing her into the Forrester family many years ago.

Then, of course, Sheila is also Finn’s mother and John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) just worked his magic on his wife’s grandfather to save his life. So, maybe Eric Forrester feels a need to repay him by mending fences so that he can have his birth mother in his life. Finn gave him a second chance at life so he could embrace his family.
So, maybe Eric thinks he can fix Finn’s life by giving him a relationship with his birth mother. But that would be anything but a smooth move as far as his Bold and Beautiful family is concerned.
So, if Eric changes and embraces those less fortunate than him by sharing his good fortune, he will likely conjure up some friction over that. There’s no way Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) would want to see his father’s fortune dwindle. Or if this change makes him generous by forgiving his enemies, this would also go over like a lead balloon. And that’s especially the case if he starts by forgiving Sheila.
B&B Spoilers: Eric Wants Everyone to Embrace Life
Eric spent weeks in a hospital bed on Bold and the Beautiful. This gave him more than ample time to think. What if he doesn’t want his family to take after him, as he’s made his life all about his work? With a new lease on life, he could try and sell FC right out from under his family. Maybe Eric, the changed man, wants them to spend time with their families instead of always being at work.
So, he could attempt to sell the fashion house and disperse the profits among his loved ones. Then, in this far-fetched scenario, the Forrester patriarch could tell them all not to worry about working. Instead, his new wish is for them to spend time enjoying their families. While the changed Eric suggestions here are a stretch, you just never know.
Stranger things have happened on Bold and the Beautiful in the past. But, all the hype over a change in this iconic character could be for just a happier and more spiritual mode surfacing. So since the spoilers make a point that the fans will see a changed Eric Forrester, the canvas is wide open to those changes on the CBS soap.
