‘Bold and the Beautiful’: Brooke’s Sickness Brings Ridge Home Unscathed
Bold and the Beautiful has Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) dreading life without Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) next week on the CBS soap.
The destiny she speaks about over and over again on B&B took a drastic hit. But the timing is right for her to take another hit soon. But this one could put her life in jeopardy.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Brooke Logan Pays Hefty Price for Neglect
Brooke Logan soon finds there’s a bigger price to pay for putting life on hold. She did this while trying to reel Ridge Forrester back home.
B&B often slips a few hints into the scenes that seem rather meaningless at the time. But down the line, you realize they were laying down the foundation for a storyline on the way.
So, it looks like Brooke Logan dropped a little blurb a while back on Bold and the Beautiful. Now it sounds as if the soap slipped in a clue of things to come. In the midst of trying to woo her husband back to her, she forgot her yearly physical appointment.
It only took a minute or so of Bold and the Beautiful’s screen time to get that point across. She also gave her daughter Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) an excuse for missing it.
It seems with all that was going on between her and Ridge, it just slipped her mind. Now it looks like something comes up that brings Brooke Logan to her doctor. But that delay may have cost her.
B&B Spoilers: Ridge Forrester Wrapped Up in Promises
Not only did Ridge Forrester make promises to Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), but to his kids as well. He promised he was done with Brooke for good.
While he will always care for her, his future belongs to Taylor and the family he left behind when he strayed to Brooke. This is the sum of his promises to Taylor and his kids.
So, the guilt of causing so much pain to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) keeps him focused on this family.
For a while anyway. He especially treats Taylor like a queen. Bold and the Beautiful spoilers suggest she has some good times with Ridge finally by her side. But this is B&B, so it’s likely only temporary.
With that said, if Brooke gets diagnosed with a serious illness, Ridge could be pulled in her direction. So, because of all the promises made, he could find himself distraught over what he should do.
He won’t want to go back on the promises made to Taylor. He won’t want to disappoint Steffy and Thomas once again as well.
If Ridge finds out that Brooke delayed her doctor’s appointment due to the stress, he was causing her at the time, then the guilt piles high for him.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Only Way Ridge Goes Back to Brooke – Life Threatening Illness?
There aren’t too many scenarios left for B&B fans to buy into Ridge Forrester heading back to Brooke Logan. But a life-threatening illness might just be the ticket. Plus, this would lend some understanding for the promises Ridge Forrester will have to break to Taylor and his kids.
While Taylor would likely let Ridge go under the circumstances, she may even encourage him to do so. But it would still crush her. Steffy and Thomas may not be as understanding as their mother, but their mom might be able to keep a lid on their anger over this.

Bold and the Beautiful couldn’t possibly have Ridge Forrester waiver once again and head back to Brooke without a very good reason. So, Brooke battling a life-threatening illness would likely be one of the best scenarios the soap could use without making him look too much like a heel.
Drama makes a soap opera tick. So, to set Ridge up in a happy family without Brooke seems to narrow down Bold and the Beautiful drama options in the future. Only time will tell if Brooke Logan is sick.
Plus, for added drama, there’s the missed doctor’s appointment. If that led to the progression of her life-threatening illness for his wife, then Ridge Forrester will likely get hit with horrendous guilt.
There you have it, one possible way for Ridge Forrester to head back to Brooke Logan without too much interference from the family on the CBS soap.
