‘Big Brother’ Veto Meeting: Nicole & Taylor on the Chopping Block – Daniel Missteps?

Big Brother 24 had its Veto Meeting and Taylor Hale is now on the block next to Nicole Layog. And to make this more ironic, it’s Daniel Durston’s fault that his best pal’s likely to be evicted come Thursday. Take a look at the CBS Live Feeds action.

Big Brother Veto Meeting – Daniel Durston Uses PoV

Over the weekend, Daniel Durston spent a lot of time with his pal Nicole Layog plotting how to get Taylor Hale out of the house and generally hating on the beauty queen.

After Daniel and Kyle Capener won the golden power of veto as Festie Bestie partners, the inevitable talk ensued of whether or not to use it. Head of Household Monte Taylor had nominated Alyssa Snider and Indy Santos.

The initial plan by The Leftovers (LOs) was to eject Alyssa. Some of the LOs wanted to backdoor Nicole, but Monte didn’t want to put Taylor on the block during his HoH reign on Big Brother.

Kyle said he wanted to get rid of Alyssa because she talks too much and she’s pressing him for a showmance despite him saying “no”. He was back and forth on strategies, then settled on NOT using the PoV.

But Daniel has that irrational hatred of Taylor bubbling away in his head. And he’s so cocky that he thinks his BFF could easily survive eviction night with votes to spare. So, he used the PoV!

Nicole Layog on Block next to Taylor Hale – Bad Move on BB24

Taylor Hale knew since the initial week four nominations that she might wind up on the block with Nicole as the target. But she hoped she wouldn’t have to. At the same time, her alliance members know it’s hard for her to see her bullies bopping around the house.

Now, Nicole Layog’s feeling pretty self-assured – and so is her pal, Daniel. They called Taylor the “common enemy” of the house, so certain that the pageant alum will be evicted Thursday night. They are both in the dark about house sentiment.

The way this came about was interesting, as seen on Big Brother Live Feeds. Nicole and her buddy theorized that Monte initially planned to backdoor her. Then, they decided he didn’t want the veto used because he couldn’t muster the votes to save Taylor.

Ironically, Daniel used his golden power of veto with Nicole’s agreement. They’re 100% certain they’ll be laughing at Thursday’s eviction. Meanwhile, The Leftovers are happy to roll with it and send the ex-cop packing.

As for them pushing the house to this, the LOs laugh and say “their loss”. Meanwhile, the Elvis impersonator and ex-cop laugh about how they’ve manipulated people. Nicole even said she “baited” Michael Bruner.

But the LOs know only she got played. Once Daniel played the PoV and pulled down Indy and Alyssa, Monte nominated Taylor Hale and Nicole. Now, it’s just a matter of time. He’s got a horrible dead-dad plot to pull on Jas – but it could make things worse.

Counting Eviction Votes – Who’s Evicted from Big Brother This Week?

Voting in this week’s Big Brother eviction are 10 houseguests, so it’ll take 5 to tie, and 6 to evict. Here are those HGs and their presumed vote to evict.

Joseph Abdin (N)

Michael Bruner (N)

Brittany Hoopes (N)

Matt Turner (N)

Kyle Capener (N)

Terrance Higgins (likely Nicole)

Jasmine Davis (Up in the air)

Daniel Durston (T)

Alyssa Snider (likely Taylor)

Indy Santos (likely Taylor)

Best case for Nicole Layog, it’d be a tie, but then Monte would break the tie and send her out. Worst case is that she gets only Daniel’s vote and goes out a near-unanimous vote.

There seems no foreseeable way for Nicole to stay over Taylor Hale. But it’ll be on her and Daniel if she goes out since their hubris put her on the block when they could have carried on another week.
