Fans were first introduced to Honey Boo Boo on the hit reality series, Toddlers & Tiaras. One fan asked if Alana still enjoys “getting all done up?” She said she does. However, these days it involves a different look for her, with long wigs, lashes, and fingernails.

She says she and her family are not too sure. However, she admits that she and her mom don’t really speak any longer.

Alana is not one for sitting around or for letting situations in her life get her down. The Mama June: Road to Redemption star is growing up and moving on. The 17-year-old WEtv reality star says she is is looking ahead and planning for her future.
Last May, Alana shared with her followers that she was accepted into the Georgia Military College Dual Enrollment Program. Honey Boo Boo is currently working on completing her high school education and some college courses.
Thompson says she will be graduating high school in May. She also plans to continue her education and pursue a career in Neonatal Nursing. A fan says Alana’s educational goals surpass those of her redneck family members.

As for Honey Boo Boo’s reality television career, it is up in the air. However, the WEtv star and her sister Lauryn are reportedly looking into starring in their own family reality series.
A show without their troubled mother. There is no official confirmation of the sisters landing their series yet. Even if they do, the Mama June: Road to Redemption star, Alana, doesn’t plan on making a full-time career of it down the road.
