Based on the latest leaks, the production company behind the franchise plans to film and release three 90 Day Fiance spinoffs. And, one of them has a Caribbean theme. It’ll focus on people from the region as they try to make their relationships work with Americans. So, this is certainly something else to watch for eager followers.
Turns out, based on leaks from production to a potential casting prospect, the show focuses on “connecting Caribbean long distance love from the US to the Caribbean.” So, it looks like the spinoff follows the same formula of Americans looking for love with foreign love interests. The only difference is, the network focuses on relationships with Caribbean boyfriends and girlfriends exclusively.
90 Day Fiance: TLC History with Personalities from the Region
90 Day Fiance has a lot of success bringing in fiery personalities from this part of the world. Perhaps the best represented region is the Dominican Republic. 90 Day Fiance fans remember people like Pedro Jimeno and Luis Mendez. And, more recently, Anny Francisco Matos (Robert Springs’ wife).
Pedro Jimeno and his family bring a lot of 90 Day Fiance drama by themselves. The family feud between Pedro’s relatives and Chantel Everett’s family inspired its own spinoff. So, it’s not entirely surprising Sharp Entertainment wants an entire cast list with people from the area on it.
Meanwhile, things got heated between Molly Hopkins and Luis Mendez when the Livi Rae business owner brought her Dominican lover to America. The pair fought often. And, they eventually called it quits.
On top of that, countries like Jamaica are part of the region as well. And, 90 Day Fiance viewers will likely never forget the drama Ashley Martson brought to the show with Jamaican hubby, Jay Smith. With TLC’s history of drama with cast members from the area, it’s no surprise they want an entire series focusing exclusively on it.
Game Show Coming
