Once they were married, Angela had to go back to the United States quickly so that she could help take care of her sick mother. And when the pandemic hit, she was no longer able to travel back and see her husband. While they are apart, she says she has gained weight, putting her at around 275 pounds.
Angela Deem has opted to get a gastric sleeve so that she can lose weight. Michael Ilesanmi is very against her getting this surgery because Angela is 54 years old, and he thinks it is very dangerous. Michael says that people where he lives, get that surgery and die. Michael doesn’t want to lose his wife.
Michael Ilesanmi also says that surgery decreases the chance of Angela being able to carry a baby. Michael may need a science lesson if thinks surgery is what’s keeping 54-year-old Angela Deem from getting pregnant.

He says if that happens, it will break his heart because of how much he loves her. But he also says he needs to follow his path in life, and he wants to have children. Not only might this surgery cost Michael his wife’s life, but he might also lose his marriage.

Angela Deem from 90 Day Fiance was asked by her husband Michael Ilesanmi not to get weight loss surgery. But she says she wants to be a hot memaw, and how can she do that being so big? She continues with the surgery anyway because it’s her decision. He says if he were with her, he would stop it from happening. But he has no way of getting to her.
A few weeks back, Angela revealed her weight loss progress, and fans are happy to see it worked. She is very happy with the results and feels better. She wants to live as long as she can to be with Michael and her grandchildren.
