90 Day Fiance: The Other Way fans will meet new couple Kimberly and her partner Tejaswi in the upcoming episode. They have an intriguing and somewhat mystical story. They are both very spiritual people especially Kimberly who credits meeting the man of her dreams to her spirit guide.

90 Day Fiance: Kimberly Embarks on Her Spiritual Journey with Tejaswi

Kimberly describes herself as a spiritual being who is highly tuned into three out of the four psychic clair senses clairvoyant, claircognizant, and clairaudient. According to MindBodyGreen.com this means the 90 Day Fiance cast member has been born with special gifts. These abilities (clairvoyant) enable her to see images, (clairaudient) to hear voices, and (claircognizant) to sense things.

The Alabama native says she met her soul mate Tejaswi in a spiritual group on social media. Despite his first attempt to friend her, she claims she ignored his requests.

Long story short they came together spiritually, with him proposing to her online. Kimberly of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way was not into online proposals so much. So, she saves some cash and headed to India. There, she finally met her dream partner face-to-face. He popped the question again two months later and she eagerly accepted.

TLC’s Tejaswi’s Family Obligations Sound Very Familiar

Next comes the toughest part of the couple’s romantic journey. As a member of a traditional Indian family, he has a strict family upbringing and a strong dedication to his parents.

This may sound familiar to 90 Day Fiance viewers from previous seasons. Thanks to Jenny Slatten and her husband Sumit Singh and Jen Boecher and Rischi Singh reality viewers know a lot about American/Indian relationships and the obstacles they can impose.

Tejaswi’s parents are giving the couple their blessing and are willing to accept Kimberly into their family. But there are still obstacles. The 90 Day Fiance star has made it crystal clear to her fiance that she plans on keeping her independent life. She also refuses to live with his parents.

He remains firm in his beliefs and says that leaving his parents alone is not an option. There is another problem, he has also failed to discuss his expectations of her as a wife and homemaker. He admits he doubts that she could adapt to a traditional Indian life.

The twist to this love story that makes it different from Sumit and Jenny, and Rishi and Jen’s is that this time the parents are the problem. They are open and willing to accept the changes that come with having their son marry an American. This time it is Tejaswi who refuses to bend from his Indian traditions.
