However, on October 22, she shares with her followers she was making an unexpected career change. Menzies shared a welcome photo from her new place of employment, Kona Kai Resort & Spa in San Diego.
The caption encourages patrons to welcome Kim Menzies as Kona Kai’s new spa receptionist. It also shares a few personal details about the Happily Ever After cast member.
90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After Star Has Many Money Irons in The Fire
The 90 Day Fiance star added a special shout to her previous employer. She writes, “Mimi’s Cafe has been a part of my life for a long time, and I truly am grateful for all the years I have worked there. She adds it is time for a change.
“I am so excited to announce that I will be a Spa Receptionist at Kona Kai Resort & Spa! Please come and book Spa appointments and I will see you there!”
90 Day Fiance followers need not fear. Menzies has no plans to leave TLC anytime soon. She is considered a go-getter when it comes to making money.
So, Kim plans to continue her career in reality television, maintain her job with Kona Kai Resort, as well as keep active with her Cameo account.
TLC Reality Couple Deals with Relationship Obstacles
No matter how busy Kim Menzies stays in her regular jobs, she says reality television is dear to her heart. 90 Day Fiance viewers know she is currently dealing with relationship obstacles with her fiancé Usman Umar. They want to get married. However, Usman’s family is against it.
They feel the 20-year age difference is too much. Fans know the couple has been doing everything to get his family’s blessings.
But it is not going well. Last week’s episode shows Kim going with Umar to see his family. She even bought a cow for them as a gift and a sign of respect.
However, that blew up in her face. They accused her of trying to bribe them. She attempted to explain herself. She wants to convince Usman’s family her love and intentions are honest and pure.
Sadly, it did not go well. They want Usman to marry a younger woman as his first wife. One who could give him children. Then if Usman still wants to, he can marry her as his second wife.
Usman Unhappy with Kim’s Attitude
That did not fly with the 90 Day Fiance star. It caused a blowup between herself and Umar. Menzies says she is no one’s second wife. She is upset but says if she leaves single, then she leaves single.

Usman did not take kindly to her threat. He told her he had given more to the relationship than she had. He told his fiancé her age was a factor.
And, if they break up, she has more to lose than him. This left Kim Menzies hurt and crying. At this point, she is also angry and says he can try and find another woman as good as she is.
Things could spiral out of control between the 90 Day Fiance couple. Thankfully, Kim is happy about her new job. If things continue to go badly, she may have a lot of time to devote to her new career.
