He may be in the thick of a battle between his bride Kalani Faagata and family involving money problems. But the man does know how to have a good time. In fact, it looks like Asuelu likes to moonlight as a certain Disney character, and you’re going to want to see it.
90 Day Fiance Update: Asuelu Pulaa’s Family Causes Issues on Happily Ever After
Currently, TLC’s Asuelu Pulaa and Kalani Faagata are in the middle of some major family drama on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After. Right now, it’s all stemming from Asuelu’s family’s desire for the two of them to send them money. They want the father of two to give them a percentage of the money he’s making out in America. But he has a family of his own to support.
In the latest episode, Kalani met with Asuelu’s mother and sister to explain the situation to them. Asuelu Pulaa doesn’t make enough money to send any to his mother. In Samoan culture, it’s a tradition for children to support their parents in retirement. But the conversation didn’t go over well, and 90 Day Fiance superstar Kalani seems to have finally reached her breaking point.
Kalani Faagata Does Her Husband’s Makeup
Although they’re in a mess of things right now, that doesn’t mean Asuelu Pulaa and sweetheart Kalani Faagata don’t know how to have a little fun. Asuelu Pulaa and his wife Kalani did a fun little video with each of them doing the other’s makeup. Asuelu went first, and he seemed to have a pretty good idea of how he wanted his 90 Day Fiance wife to look in the end.
He took his time applying his wife’s makeup and doing the best to his abilities. Still, Kalani’s transformation didn’t turn out the way he planned. Instead of ready to walk the runway, Asuelu’s bride looked ready for Halloween. But the 90 Day Fiance couple had a good laugh about the whole thing.

Next, it was Kalani Faagata’s turn to do Asuelu Pulaa’s makeup. And her hubby was a good sport about the whole thing. In fact, Asuelu was embracing his feminine side and seemed to be enjoying it. In the end, he was definitely feeling the whole look. He even put on a big and curly wig to complete the look. Kalani called him the “hottest Moana” she’s ever seen. It looks like Asuelu’s finally gotten to live out his Disney Princess fantasy.
