According to Kalani, her family member, Sarah Wildes, was hung in the Salem witch trials. The trials took place in Salem, Massachusetts, from February 1692 until May 1693. During that time, women who were accused of witchcraft were put on trial and prosecuted.
Kalani Faagata from 90 Day Fiance felt proud after finding out more about her ancestors. She saw it as a reminder that “powerful women have been terrifying the weak-minded” for many years. However, she also believes that it is an honor to have “an abundance of those powerful women” as her ancestors.
