Jasmine Pineda has been wearing glasses for many years. The 90 Day Fiance cast member is nearsighted. So, she has a hard time seeing things clearly in the distance.
She is only able to see things that are close to her. And, to correct her vision, she has to wear glasses. Yet, she often wears contact lenses. But she is ready to ditch the spectacles and improve her vision.

Jasmine thought it was time to get surgery on her eyes. However, she struggled to find a doctor that could help her. It seems like she couldn’t find someone in her home country, Panama. Yet, she was able to find someone in a different country.
According to Jasmine Pineda, she found “the best” doctor in Bogota, Colombia. Dr. Carlos Bustamente specializes in refractive surgery, cornea and cataract procedures.
The 90 Day Fiance cast member explains that his office includes doctors and surgeons who, like herself, want to see this “amazing world” clearly.
Jasmine Gets Surgery to Fix Nearsightedness
Jasmine Pineda will be getting refractive corneal surgery. The procedure will help improve her vision by reshaping the cornea and changing how light reflects onto the retina. It uses a laser, and it is highly effective.
Jasmine did a lot of preparing before surgery day. The 90 Day Fiance celeb had to buy medication for her recovery. According to her, the medicine in Colombia is cheaper than in Panama.
She paid almost $100 for all the medication she needs for her surgery. And she found that surprising. But at least she has everything she needs to recover smoothly.
Jasmine asked fans to pray that her surgery goes well. However, she had her biggest supporter in her corner. According to Gino Palazzolo, he knows how important this surgery is for her.
He also knows that “God will be watching over” her. And that “everything is going to turn out wonderfully.”

Jasmine Pineda is no stranger to surgery. She had got a breast augmentation in the past. She also has lip fillers. But she has no Botox in her face. However, she doesn’t want people to forget all the hard work she puts in to look like she does.
Jasmine feels that she puts in a lot of work in the gym to look good. The 90 Day Fiance reality star also tries to eat a healthy diet.
So, she finds it sad that people will disregard her nutritional choices and say that lip fillers and a “pair of plastic watermelons” are the reasons why she looks good.
She tries to live a healthy life and eat well. There is more to her than plump lips and fake body parts. She is also getting eye surgery to enhance her vision, not hide the fact that she wears glasses.
