This time last year, on Before the 90 Days, when Tom Brooks traveled with Darcey Silva to Albania. He’d planned a trip for them to Gran Canaria. Tom even said he’d consider proposing to Darcey — had they taken the trip he wanted. But, did Tom propose, anyway?

You may recall on 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days that Tom was annoyed from the jump that Darcey Silva insisted they go to Albania instead. Then, Darcey and Tom Brooks sat for hours waiting on Florian and Stacey to get to the restaurant. By the time they got there, hours late, the situation had peeved him.

However, Darcey and Stacey just revealed that Tom changed his tune once the 90 Day Fiance cameras left. The Silva twins said Tom was drinking and tipsy that night. Then, they said he proposed to her in front of Stacey and her fiance. But does Tom Brooks remember the proposal?

Proposal Forgotten – Did Tom Block out Marriage Talk?

90 Day Fiance star Darcey Silva said Tom Brooks was in an “interesting and giddy mood” later at the hotel. That was after they’d invited Stacey to pop by with Florian. It happened in the wee hours of that morning. Stacey said he “popped the question to Darcey.” And it came “out of left field.”

But, Stacey said, “The next day, he never brought it up again.” So did Tom Brooks forget he proposed to his 90 Day Fiance girlfriend, Darcey? So, as eager as Darcey seems to get engaged, what did she say to the proposal? She says, “I never gave him a response.”

Why ignore a 90 Day Fiance proposal, though? Both twins said he’d been drinking that night, and then he never brought it up the next day. Stacey said it felt like a “drunken moment” that shocked her, Florian, and Darcey Silva. They wondered if Tom was serious.

Also, Darcey Silva said that she thinks Tom Brooks might have proposed to make himself feel better about the events that happened earlier that night. Back then on 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days, there was a fight and tears (as on many episodes).

Darcey also said that if Tom was going to really propose, he should have at least gotten on one knee. But, she said that her 90 Day Fiance ex just sat in his chair with a drink in his hand. Now, Darcey says splitting with Tom was a blessing in disguise. She insists she’s “not desperate-Darcey.”

What’s interesting about this 90 Day Fiance reveal is the timing. It came just a few days after Tom Brooks hinted he’s engaged to his new mystery girlfriend. Moving on from Darcey Silva, he seems to be shielding his new gal pal, cropping her face from photos while waxing rhapsodic about her.
