’90 Day Fiance’: Amanda Wilhelm & Razvan Ciocoi’s Awkward First Night – ‘Before The 90 Days’

Amanda Wilhelm has high hopes to make her 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Day dreams come true and get engaged to Romanian heartthrob, Razvan Ciocoi. Amanda, a 31-year-old widow and mom of two, met Razvan on a TikTok Livestream a few months after she lost her husband Jason Wilhelm to cancer.

Now, she is Flying to Romania to meet Razvan in anticipation of a proposal. Razvan is also very much smitten with his new girlfriend, and we recently learned he too is quick to fall in love.

This led to fans guessing if this could couple also be on the fast track to marriage.  However, it quickly became obvious that upon meeting, it was going to take a little while for Amanda to feel as comfortable IRL with Razvan and she did online.

Razvan Ciocoi’s Past Already Repeating Itself Before The 90 Days

When Amanda Wilhelm, who’s from Louisiana, started dating 26-year-old Razvan Ciocoi so soon after her husband’s death, her family had concerns. She admitted she hoped he would propose to her and be a father figure to her kids.

On Razvan’s end, he said that while he got a lot of online interaction from women, something about Amanda captured his attention and she had a “sweetheart.”

Amanda and Razvan have broken up several times over the attention he gets from women due to his job. However, we discover in this episode that the 90 Day Fiance star and fitness model is very committed to his relationship with the young widow.

Razvan revealed during a conversation with a friend that he was married three years ago but is now divorced. Similarly, to his relationship with Amanda, he moved quickly with his ex-wife. Razvan proposed only a month after the two met.

His career was the reason for their spilt as well. The marriage only lasted six months because she was jealous of him flirting with his fans online. Razvan Ciocoi is now looking into expanding his career into the music industry. Leaving fans curious as to how this new venture will affect his already fragile relationship with Amanda.

Amanda Wilhelm Has Chilly Reaction to Meeting Razvan

When Razvan picked up Amanda from the airport, she gave him a kiss upon first meeting, However, it quickly turned into an awkward reunion. Outside of the airport he went in for another kiss and Amanda immediately pulled away. “Don’t put your tongue in my mouth,” she said as the pair left the airport. Razvan responded with a laugh, but the uncomfortableness continued.

Upon getting in the car, Amanda tells him to “stop staring” at her and while she covers her face. Razvan noted that he felt she was “tense” trying to explain her shy behavior. He realized he needs give Amanda a little time since she spent the past 11 years with another man.

He said that he understood how difficult it must be for her to make such a “big change.” We then heard from Amanda in her confessional. The 90 Fiance hopeful told cameras what was really going on in her head.

She says, “I’ve been waiting for this moment for so long, but I’m realizing its gonna take me a little bit to feel more comfortable to be with him,” she said. “Like, have that physical connection with him. I just hope Razvan is patient with me and understands that I need to take things slowly.”

Separate Sleeping Arrangements…For Now

Apparently Razvan Ciocoi didn’t get the memo when preparing for Amanda to come to his home. He decorated their “shared” bed with rose petals. While Amanda had her own ideas of how their night was going play out.

She says, “Razvan and I, 100 percent, will not have sex tonight because I do also feel guilty for even being in a relationship with Razvan because of [my late husband] Jason,” she said. “I think I’ll get over it over time, but that guilt is still there.” Amanda also got a bit miffed that there wasn’t enough room for her things. It was very obvious that romance was not in the cards for Razvan that evening.

In a call home to her children, Amada’s son asked if she will be sleeping in Razvan’s bed. She tells her children she will be on the couch.

Amanda got emotional as she told cameras that she missed her kids. “I know this trip to see Razvan is as much for them as it is for me, because there is potential for him to be what they need as that guy, that father figure in their lives, which is why I’m visiting him and getting to know him,” the mom says.

In comparing Razvan’s earlier conversation in the episode about his thoughts on being a stepfather, the two don’t seem to be on the same page. He told his friend his ideal role, “I wouldn’t say father, more like a friend, a good friend to them.”
