1000-lb Sisters star Chris Combs calls his sister Amy Slaton stupid after finding out just how Tammy Slaton is getting food. Is he taking it too far?
1000-lb Sisters: Chris Combs Leaves Amy Slaton at Home
1000-lb Sisters has Chris Combs, who is taking his sister Tammy Slaton to go and get their weigh-in. Ever since she has been back from rehab, he and Amy Slaton have noticed that she is motivated to lose weight. The brother was surprised to see Tammy had gained 15 pounds once at the doctor’s. This means that she was back to cheating on her diet and not exercising.
A big concern for her came from when she started dating her boyfriend, Phillip Redmond. The family worries that he is like her ex, Jerry Sykes and enjoys it when she gains weight. While the visit to see Dr. Eric Smith is a success for Chris because he gets approved for weight loss surgery, it’s a disappointment for Tammy.

1000-lb Sisters’ Chris Combs and Tammy Slaton talk about how to help her lose weight with Dr. Eric Smith. He is concerned that she is not going to be able to lose weight on her own without the help of a therapist. He thinks Tammy can benefit from going to see someone who specializes in food addiction. Not only that, but he sets new goals for her to focus on before their next appointment. Dr. Smith says he would like Tammy to try and get to 70 steps a day and, of course, focus on her eating.

Chris lets Tammy from 1000-lb Sisters know how serious it is to each of these goals once they are on their way home. But Tammy says it’s unreasonable for people to expect her not to have cheat days. She even points out that sometimes Chris has them too. But Chris wants to get her back on track with her weight loss. But she says that she is not to blame for having cheat days. Amy Slaton is.

Chris Combs from 1000-lb Sisters finds out from Tammy Slaton that Amy Slaton is the one buying her all of her cheat day foods. He is mad with her and says he is ready to chew her out. Chris says, “Sometimes that girl, love her to death, stupid smacked her on every branch all the way down the tree when she fell out.” So he calls Amy to let her know they have to get on top of keeping Tammy on track.
Soap Dirt shares the call with Amy spreads some light on her truth. Amy says that if she doesn’t get Tammy what she wants, she will yell at her. Then the 1000-lb Sisters co-star explains that if she does get Tammy the food she wants, then Chris yells at her. She says this is why she doesn’t want to be Tammy’s caretaker.
