‘Young and the Restless’: Victor Pits Adam against Vikki – Who Wins?

Young and the Restless spoilers hint Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) pushes Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to compete with his big sister. While Adam was in a pretty good place with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) recently, it could all crumble in a moment on the CBS soap opera.

Victoria Newman called a truce with her troublesome half-brother after years of anti-Adam Newman sentiment. Her relationship with Adam is still shaky at best. But they have shared civil interactions and she even invited him to her wedding. That pleased Victor Newman. Now, though, Victor seems to want them competing again.

Lately, she’s thrown sarcastic barbs towards Adam on Young and the Restless. But now she decided to take a toy that Adam Newman wants — Chance Comm. Of course, Victor Newman wanted to buy the company to merge with his own. But it’s mostly about Victor taking something away from Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) on Y&R.

So Victor hates Billy because he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and is entitled. Guess that explains why he pits his brats against each other. He subconsciously loathes them. lol #yr

Despite Victor’s personal agenda against Billy, he’s willing to let Adam duke it out with Vikki on Young and the Restless. Spoilers show The Mustache taking a “let the best kid win” approach. Of course, Victor’s wife won’t like him encouraging them to compete again. But, that’s how he seems to like things with Adam Newman and his big sis.

Things Get Ugly Between Vikki & Brother in Fight for ChanceComm – Y&R Spoilers

Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) decided to sell Chance Comm to the highest bidder despite initially entertaining an offer from Victor Newman. Now, a war for ownership of the company ensues. Adam Newman is pitted against Victoria in an all-out war. Both want to own the company for different reasons on Young and the Restless.

Spoilers have Vikki claiming she just wants to bring it back home under the NE umbrella where it began. But Victor ups the ante considerably. Victor’s impressed with her business moves. And she wants his approval — and to knock Adam down a few notches. Now, Adam’s the golden child again, remind Young and the Restless recaps.

So, both have a lot to lose if they cannot buy ChanceComm. Of course, Victor encourages competition between his children. Young and the Restless news shows things heat up as Vikki and Adam strive to succeed in Victor’s eyes. But what will Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) say when she hears Victor’s pitting them against each other again?

Young and the Restless: Billy Sneaks in – Outfoxes Vikki, Victor & Adam?

Of course, there’s still a wild card in play. Billy Boy’s working on a plan for revenge against Victor and also Adam Newman. Young and the Restless updates indicate that he tries to get his brother, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), to pitch in and buy Chance Comm from Jill. Now, all the Newmans think Billy’s out of the running.

No doubt, Jack refuses to enable Billy’s obsession with payback. However, Billy won’t back down. Next week on Young and the Restless, he sets his plot into action. He told Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) what he’s plotting. And once again, she endorses his sketchy behavior and fixation on revenge.

So things will get dicey on Young and the Restless. But many fans are getting a little worn out with this storyline. But soap feuds are standard plots, along with love triangles. So, it’s doubtful Billy will ever be done with Adam. As for Vikki, let’s hope if she wins the bidding war, she won’t re-install her ex at the media company.

That would infuriate Victor Newman. As for Adam Newman, he might enjoy the business rivalry with his sis. But, it would be nice on Young and the Restless for them to develop a grudging respect for each other. Their scenes together are fun — even when they pick at each other.
